[Well, this is a predicament. A lady in distress? Far be it from Ringabel to turn a blind eye on a woman, and so he strolls over to Sonia and the ledge, eyebrow raised.]

Fear not, miss! I believe I have a solution. It seems clear to me that there is a magical barrier surrounding this ledge, and I just so happen to be skilled in the use of the white mage asterisk.

[Among countless others. So what does Ringabel do? Simple! He changes from Freelancer to white mage, attempting to cast Dispel on the ledge...

This can only end in disaster.]

The white mage asterisk? [ Anger fades to curiosity; she's never heard of that although "mage" certainly is interesting regardless.

As is the assertion there is a magical barrier around the ledge, which does make more sense than a ledge randomly deciding it doesn't want to be climbed...although that also seems fairly logical, considering she woke up in a weird world with strange, oddly affectionate animals prone to following people around.... ]

but yes magic casting she's watching closely and with enthusiasm although sadly magic probably doesn't work on game mechanics. ALAS. ]

[He switches back to his more comfortable Freelancer attire and wanders back up to the ledge.]
