We were, yeah. Before....well, before that, you did do a lot to help us. We had meetings, you know. Where Monobear couldn't see what we were doing or hear what we were talking about.

Oh, indeed? Because I tried the same thing last week - it was shut down immediately by a rule change that night.

That's....that's weird. Monobear never really tried to stop it before. I guess he figured it was pointless to do anything since.....people just kept dying anyway.

Either that or he's getting smarter after multiple rounds.

We had one more trial left apparently, back on the island. ...if what you say is true, and he's doing more....kidnapping more people and all....

I dunno what that means for us that are left.

[This is just now catching up with him, hang on; guess who hasn't had shit explained about what happens after people start murdering.]

...You know- [No, Jimmy, he does not know.] after....after someone gets killed, there's a trial. ...Everyone has to investigate and look for clues....try to figure out who the killer is. Don't figure it out and everyone else gets killed, while the murderer gets to leave.

...Figure it out and everyone else lives, while the murderer is executed.

...But you said Archer and I killed someone, and we were found out for it. How...?

Like I said, there was an investigation. We had to look for clues and stuff... I guess you don't remember her, but one of our classmates- Roxy- was the one who figured it all out.

....The person you killed trusted you a lot, so it turned out that there was some evidence that connected you right to the crime, and....at first you just confessed and made it out to seem like you were the sole killer.

[He takes a deep, shaky breath.]

You and Archer thought that if only one of you was convicted, it would cause some sort of loophole and make it so we didn't solve the case correctly, and you both escaped. But Roxy kept pressing and Archer eventually gave in and....well, the whole truth came out after that.

[It's hard for him to really remember a trial that almost seems like a blur now, but he does his best. He also doesn't realize this could be giving him ideas for his new murder game, but....well, that's for Lysandre to worry about.]
