[Searching was the key word in all this. Veronica had combed the city, apparently called "Goldenrod", and found little of what she was looking for, including a way out of here. Even the maps in the centers didn't make sense to her, although they did give the barest outline of a region in Japan she knew of.

Thankfully, this showed that when Veronica actually mustered the strength to be social, she got some answers. Of course, she still looks terribly confused, an obvious sign that she's new here.]

Johto region...? That's not a region in Japan, but the maps looked like the Kansai region.

[The confusing journey of Veronica Madaraki continued it would seem. Murkow, who was perched on the bodyguard's shoulder, watched both his trainer and the new gardener with interest.]

Um, yes, I'm new here. I've never been here before.

[A Sunkern that happened to be treading behind Juniper stops at her heels, peeking behind her legs at the unfamiliar face as well as its Pokémon. Juniper, on the other hand, shakes her head, looking a bit uncertain.]

Ah, I...don't know if this is Japan or not.

[There's a high chance it might be if they held similarity to the maps the other was referring to. She doesn't know, though.]

Though, I can tell you for certain that this...isn't your world...

It feels kind of like Japan. Everything isn't right though.

[It's like if someone moved everything in your bedroom an inch to the left without you knowing. Everything would just feel wrong and you'd have no idea why.]

It's not, that's for sure. Still feels like I've been kidnapped though.

[Ignoring the seriousness in his trainer's tone, Murkow hopped down from her shoulder to get a closer look at the walking sunflower seed.]

Ah... Yes, it does seem that way.

[She's been here for about two months now, and it's still strange not being in her original world.]

Unfortunately, there's no possible way to escape that we know of...so, in the meanwhile, we're assigned these Pokémon and are supposed to go on journeys with them.

[The Sunkern squeaks in surprise when the Murkrow swoops down to it, but it doesn't move away. It only peers curiously at the other Pokémon, giving a murmur of 'Sunkern~' in response.]

[Murkrow squawks excitedly, determined to investigate this new pokemon further.]

There's no way out? Are you sure?

[Because she doesn't like that at all if it's true. She has things she has to be doing, Juniper. Things. She has no time to be a pokemon master!]

[Sunkern peeks out from behind Juniper's heels again, creeping forward a bit as it continues to stare at the Murkrow.]

N-Not that I know of... I've been here for about two months now...

[Well, Roni, you're just going to have to get used to it.]

[Aww, it's okay, Murkow wont do anything

except flare his wings out and caw at Sunkern happily.]

Two months? [Judging from the expression on Veronica's face, that was not a good thing.] But I can't stay here for two months, I have duties. Fran needs me to protect her.

[Veronica kicked the ground with her boot, mostly to get out some of the pent up frustration she was feeling.]

I can't stay here.

[Sunkern chirps happily in return, coming closer to the Pokémon! Juniper notices this, glancing down with a slight giggle before returning her attention to Veronica. Her expression grows slightly apologetic as she folds her arms against her chest.]

Mm... S-Someone told me on my first day here that one of the people I'm acquainted with went home eventually, but...I-I don't really know all the details. As far as I know, it's impossible to leave willingly, but...perhaps you may be able to return home if your duties are that dire...? Most of us, on the other hand, are unsure of how to return to our homes...
