So let's go. Even if we don't find Jake and the others it's bound be at least a little fun.

[The Houndour lifts it's head and wags it's tail in agreement before lopping around in a wide circle. Someone was clearly happy that the mood had shifted.]

...Any idea where here might be, speaking of?

[By now he's abandoned the idea that this is the Ellimist's doing. He most likely would have showed himself by now if it was. Tobias' Starly chirps happily, hopping up and down on his shoulder at the prospect of traveling.]

[She grins. What was another adventure int he midst of a war after all?

She glances around. Hm which way should they go? At least one of the routes should lead to a town or something.]

You would think they have better things to do. Or come with an instruction manual. Even our morphing came with some form of instructions and warnings.
