HOW TO USE THIS LOG:

We caught a few of these last week. They appeared day after the dog rain... but apparently only in few towns.

Looks like the swarms aren't like the cat and dog rain that seemed to be all over the place...

Sure, I'd be happy to have one of them. They... don't need any watering, do they?

Yeah, guess not. This makes more sense than ... well, that.

[At least he didn't get stomped by a goat raining from the sky.]

I don't think so? They're most likely just normal grass-types - or so they look.

Definitely safe to say they're grass types.

These guys look more possibly migrating than the cats and dogs falling from the sky.

Yeah. I guess it is a migrating season? At least for birds.

It could be... but I don't think the falling dogs and cats count as birds if we're talking about migration.

I'm thinking they're probably from the same region those goomies were when they first arrived seeing as the Pokedex doesn't have any information on them either.

I heard the same theory from someone else as well. I think it's possible, too.

[As long as these don't talk with an French accent.] It makes me wonder just how long they've traveled to get here.

A mass migration doesn't sound pretty far off now that I think about it.

[ A pause. ]

You'd think the seasons changing would cause migrations but these swarms just came out of nowhere.

Well, it is a month where autumn normally starts, or so I remember... but still it wouldn't start this suddenly and they wouldn't appear one after another.

The only thing that might trigger a migration this quick would be an evacuation.

[ There's a frown there. ]

It's a guess. We can't really say at this point as to which region they come from and how they're getting to both Johto and Kanto in the first place.

I hadn't thought of that... but it's certainly possible.

Only time will tell, huh? I hate waiting for information.

Cinnabar Island's a stretch... but we'd probably know if the volcano was acting up.

[ There's a sigh there. ]

Unfortunately, waiting's all we can do for now.

True. Meanwhile, we'll just have to look after these guys somehow. [Pets the little goat, who seems very happy.]

Looks like we don't have much of a choice. We'll just have to wait and see. Maybe we'll get lucky.
