HOW TO USE THIS LOG:

They might be, I'm not sure.

I don't think so but you never know. That fin thing they have looks like it might be a barb.

The good news is that none of them seem interested in stinging me right now.

I couldn't tell you anything about individual temperament, though. Maybe they're all pretty relaxed critters.

What else can you tell me about them? Anything I might not be able to gather from looks through video alone.

I haven't exactly tried to test it out so I don't know for certain.

The ones I have here seem to have a good temperament, but I don't know if that applies to the entire species. It's hard to tell just looking at them, you know? Maybe their evolved forms act differently, if they have any.

It's possible. Even if the species is known for its ferocity, some can be found docile.

The same is true for the opposite.

You've got that right.

I can't tell you for certain how one is going to act so if you're looking for a guard seahorse or something you're taking a gamble but who knows, you might get lucky.

I just want something strong and relatively obedient.

Otherwise, I don't care what its temperament is like.

Pokemon usually listen unless they get too high level, I believe. Can't tell you how good they are at anything else, but I haven't encountered many useless Pokemon.

Neither have I. That's also why I intend to get all of the badges. Then, they will listen regardless.

[Of course there's bragging rights too, but that's a given.]

Pokemon that don't listen to you are a pain in the ass. I've seen how hard they are to deal with, though I haven't had the experience myself.
