I didn't end up keeping any myself, but I did see them so I get what you mean! They do look kinda freaky, don't they? Like they can see something nobody else can.

And they stare a lot, too. Sometimes at nothing at all, which I'm not sure is them just thinking or if they really are seeing something. But it's really cute when they do smile!

Heh, I bet! So what'd you name yours?

Jack and Jill. Hey, you two! [Al turns to call for the pair of Espurr.] Come on over and say hi to--oh jeez, I haven't even asked your name! I'm Alphonse.

I'm Jimmy! Nice to meet'cha, Alphonse.

[Jimmy smiles when he sees the Espurr come into view, waving a little at the screen.]

Hiya!

Jimmy! It's nice to met you, too.

[The Espurr pair climb up onto Al's lap and cuddle up against him before turning to look at the 'Gear curiously. One of them waves with a soft 'mew', and then after a moment the other does as well.]

[THAT'S SO CUTE...]

I hope you can get some more Pokemon soon! Maybe you'll try to challenge the gyms, huh?

[Yesssssss, give in to the adorable, Jimmy.]

Ahh, I'm not sure if I will. I know Brother wants to, but I'm still not really comfortable with making them battle each other like that.

Aw, don't worry! It's not really all that bad, actually. They really like it!

[From the way Al sighs, it's likely he's heard that a lot, but...]

Maybe. I'll think about it, at least.

It's okay if you don't want to, though.

[He tilts his head to the side a little, still smiling as friendly as ever.]

You could always try breeding Pokemon instead!

That is what I'm supposed to be doing, actually! I was given a breeder designation, I just haven't quite gotten around to trying yet.

Oh neat! I've got some friends who are breeders, and they seem to like it a lot. And everybody's always interested in getting a new Pokemon, so you shouldn't have trouble finding homes for the eggs you breed.

So I've noticed! I've already bought an Eevee and a Gible egg for myself.

Oh cool! I've got an Eevee too. They're really good Pokemon. People love to breed them, too!

Yeah, I noticed they were really popular, and I figured it would be a good idea to get one. And they're so cute, too!

I've heard they can evolve into a buncha stuff...but I dunno what to let mine evolve into yet. So I've just been letting her do whatever she wants for now!

Yeah, I'm gonna do the same thing with Beryl. No sense in forcing him into something he won't like.

Good idea! Whatever he turns into, I'm sure it'll be great anyway.
