[Birds! Pink birds everywhere! A group of Spritzee were swarming Veronica as she tries to adjust the video screen, and she seems less than happy about it all by the way she's trying to get them away from her and covering her nose and mouth.]

So, does anyone want more Pokémon? These critters smell a lot when there's a lot of them around. If you don't have anything to trade, that's okay.

[She tries to distance herself from the group of Spritzee, but they're still following her. Fed up, she swats at a few which seems to send the rest into a fury. So, soon enough, the video is obscured by a shower of pink feathers, the only sounds being from several angry birds and Veronica shouting something.]

...I was gonna ask some questions, but I'm a bit more worried for yer life, ta be honest. All's well over there?

[The reply comes a little later. Veronica isn't dead, despite how her last appearance on screen might have looked. She is, though, covered in pink feathers, and the worst damage seems to be a few scratches here and there. she brushes a few feathers off her shoulder.]

Hmm? Oh, I'm fine. Those birds couldn't do much except smell a lot.

Good ta hear! I wouldn't mind one myself, since ya seem like ya have yer hands full~.

[She'd like to get rid of them please.]

Great! I usually try ta get these myself, but... Well, family's arrived, ha, so I've gotten a bit sidetracked.

Family, huh?

[She didn't really want to ask, but she was pretty sure she already knew what he meant by that.]

Heh. Yeah. This sorta thing ain't exactly common back in England! It takes a bit a gettin' used ta.

Make sure she's doing okay.

Don't worry, I don't plan on leavin' her side. That sorta thing's probably one a the only things that can be done right now.

[Veronica gives him a kind of understanding look.]

It probably is. I know that would be the only thing I could do if someone from home showed up.

Makes ya a bit jealous a the folks from places where this sorta thing is normal, huh? [He chuckles a bit.] "Oh this ain't anythin' new, where can I get a bite ta eat?"
