Mahogany Town? I've never been... That's a long way from Goldenrod, right?

Depends on how you travel. It's actually only a few days from Ecruteak if you Surf, but if you're going on foot, you have to hike through this huge mountain. Still not as bad as Blackthorn, though. To get there, you have to go all the way through this ice cave.

[Which naturally means a lot of slipping and sliding and uncomfortable landings.]

O-Oh, I don't think I could go into an ice cave...

[She doesn't have a Fire-type to help keep warm, and well...she'd definitely like to avoid those uncomfortable landings as much as possible.]

What do you think it would be like if you rode a Pokémon there? ...Mm, it'd be possible to ride one of those Skippers to another city, right?

[Yeah, she's supporting her friend by using his name for Skiddo.]

Depends on the Pokémon. The first time I went through, I just had Flare melt the ice.

[For a brief moment, a Charizard pokes his head on camera and grunts. Yeah, he heard you talking about him, bub...

And off he goes.]

But you might be better off just flying over the top of it. Otherwise, hey, the goats can jump ledges, so that'll definitely help you cut some corners.

I...don't have any Pokémon that can fly yet...

[She's pretty embarrassed about it, really. Others are off challenging the gyms, and she's...just here.]

So I think the goats will be my best option...but I digress. U-Um, I'll send you one of these lizards now, and you can send me one of those icicles...?
