Hey, why not? It's a flying, fighting bird with a goofy mask. Might even be the first fighting and flying type. Kinda hard to pass up something like that.

...Yeah, it would actually be the first fighting/flying type! That means aerial martial arts can actually be a thing for it.

[There's some techniques that involves jumping, but most fighting types doesn't stay in the air for very long.]
