Oh I Wonder Wonder Do I Do I Do

Who: Anyone in [community profile] route_29!
Where: Standing in front of your PC!
When: The Week of September 14 through 20
Summary: A mod-hosted venue for players to thread out trades of Gen VI Pokemon!
Rating: G unless otherwise specified (so please specify if necessary)!
Log:

HOW TO USE THIS LOG:

• We've provided seven headers, one for each day, swarm, and location!

• Characters currently in the area who are offering to send out swarm Pokemon on that day should respond to that header with offers/an IC starter of choice/etc!

• Characters who have incorporated an offer to send out Pokemon in one of their own posts are also invited to link to their posts on this log if they so desire!

• Characters looking for swarm Pokemon respond to available starters and thread from there!

• Threads completed on this log do count towards AC, provided they meet our usual standards!

• Please try to keep threads reasonably on-topic; while we're in no way discouraging characters from making friends and building CR on this log, please utilize network posts or IC inboxes for threads purely relating to general gameplay conversations.

• For general information about the swarm plot, check here!

• For this week's swarm calendar, check here!

• For moderator questions about the swarm plot, check here!

Which can be a problem, considering that ensuring they're not can be easier said than done at times.
enjoymyatelier: have fun storming the castle, kayneth (a totally honorable mage duel)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-10-23 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
It depends on the Pokemon, really. Some of them are easier to please than others, but they tend to have relatively simple tastes overall, in my experience.
captainash: (smiling)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-10-26 01:25 pm (UTC)(link)
You don't have half of them demanding their daily dose of interpretative dance the moment you wake up? Lucky you.
enjoymyatelier: no seriously what are you doing (uhhhhhhhh....)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-11-13 12:54 pm (UTC)(link)
...I am suddenly very, very glad I don't actually train any of your Pokemon.
captainash: (confident)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-11-13 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, that part's not so bad. I'm more alarmed by the very few that demand their daily dose of blood.
enjoymyatelier: but what would that even do. (gradients of babylon...?)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-11-18 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, I've dealt with a few of those as well... not necessarily blood, but life force.

Honestly, as long as they're not sick, you're not sick, and you don't overdo it, it's really not too much of a hassle.

[...honestly, he's talking way too casually about that because it's more typical back home...]
captainash: (surprised)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-11-18 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
...Sick or not, it's still kind of a hassle when she tries to get my blood by clawing my eye out.

[Sweet little Hellspawn, may she not go to another innocent trainer should he disappear.]
enjoymyatelier: the fuck is that. (404 atelier not found)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-12-02 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
...Well, that's... aren't there better ways for her to do that?!
captainash: (uh)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-12-02 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
I can think of a million, but they're not quite good enough for her sadistic streak. She'd even try it on the newly-hatched ones if I let her.
enjoymyatelier: zach. they're here. (migrane's a comin.)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-12-04 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
...and why don't you just leave this horrid thing to rot in the computer?
captainash: (disbelieving)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-12-04 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
I bought her egg from a departed friend. Irrational attachment can be funny like that, sometimes. And dangerous.
enjoymyatelier: just imagine the crossed arms and this is von karma as balls (are you cross examining a parrot)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-12-09 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
...you didn't happen to buy anything less murderous from your friend, did you, then.

[...it's a statement, not a question.]
captainash: (thinking)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-12-09 02:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, my Persian, my Audino, my Octillery, my Lopunny and my Castform also come from her, though I only got the Castform when she disappeared.

[It should have been a question.]
enjoymyatelier: no seriously what are you doing (uhhhhhhhh....)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-12-21 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
...it's a Castform? Those things seem barely threatening at all... talk about Pokemon not matching your image of them.
captainash: (neutral)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-12-22 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, the Castform isn't nearly as bad as the Purugly. The lack of claws helps.
enjoymyatelier: what is that thing doing here... (>warily regard bullet)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-12-28 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
...you've got two of them? Good lord, man, I appreciate your sentimental attachments, but sometimes you've got to make a statement.
captainash: (disbelieving)

[personal profile] captainash 2014-12-28 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I find 'fond memories over my personal safety' to be a perfectly acceptable statement.
enjoymyatelier: zach. they're here. (migrane's a comin.)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2015-01-10 07:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Well... so long as you don't suffer any real injuries from it, I suppose. I have no idea what the healthcare for actual humans is like in this place, and having your eyes clawed out seems like a rather awful way to find out.
captainash: (confident)

[personal profile] captainash 2015-01-11 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
Don't worry. I've had enough experience with eye injuries to know better than to get another, even in worlds with proper doctors.
enjoymyatelier: what is that thing doing here... (>warily regard bullet)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2015-01-18 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
Oh.

[...he squints a bit, and it looks very much like he wants to ask a question for a moment before he decides that "I was wondering how having your hair over one eye doesn't bother you all the time because you can't see anything out of it" may be a bit insensitive.]

I... see.
captainash: (happy)

[personal profile] captainash 2015-01-18 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
[It must indeed look very much like that, because Ash suddenly starts laughing and shakes his head a little.]

Don't worry. So do I.

[And indeed, his newly displaced hair reveals an eye in perfect working condition, though the scar that crosses it goes pretty far down his cheek.]
enjoymyatelier: no seriously what are you doing (uhhhhhhhh....)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2015-02-10 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
...oh.

Well, that's better than I expected, anyway.

[though that begs the question of anime hair, why...]
captainash: (confident)

[personal profile] captainash 2015-02-10 02:02 pm (UTC)(link)
[Because anything is better than the old spiky mullet, that's why.]

Believe me, it's better than I expected at first too. But that was still enough to convince me that I really don't want claws anywhere near my eyes.
enjoymyatelier: i think he's fucking her navel (that position is bizarre and improbable)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2015-03-15 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I would imagine something like that would do that, yes. I'm glad it didn't end disastrously for you, then.
