i'm through accepting limits;
Who: Tobias and open!
Where: Violet City
When: Sunday September 14th, Monday September 15th, and Tuesday September 16th (aka Day of Smelly Birds)
Summary: Tobias is wandering around, taking in the bird atmosphere. Clearly this means he needs to be bothered.
Rating: PG-13 only because Animorphs is a depressing canon and things come up.
Log:
Really, Tobias should have stayed in the area, but training took priority over interest. Regal and Volts needed stronger enemies to fight, and the wild Pokemon around here just weren't cutting it. It had taken a while to get through the forest again, but he didn't mind. His Pokemon didn't seem to mind either, and so when they packed up the camp site they headed in to town.
They mostly spent their days wandering around, Regal perched on Tobias' shoulder and Rachel toddling along next to them. Sunday afternoon and Monday mid-day found them sitting and watching the aerial shows. It made him smile, but he couldn't help but miss the feeling of flying himself. During the most of the rest of Sunday and Monday, the group was around Sprout Tower, both lending a hand and exploring the tower itself.
Of course, Tuesday found the group with a small flock of pink and white birds. Tobias tried to entertain them, but apparently they decided that perching on him was more entertaining. He might need some help.

Sort of. I got the morphing power back and the being that gave it back to me let me have my old human form as a morph. But I can't stay human for more than two hours, or else I'll be stuck again. And I can't just... not fight.

So you have to be a hawk most of the time, except when you turn into something else... [ Mimi ponders. ] Well, at least you're not, like, a bug or something, right? I mean, if I had to be an animal, being a bird might be pretty cool! You get to fly and everything! It would probably be really awesome! Oh, but I bet it's not so awesome for you, huh... Since you're stuck like that and all.
[ Mimi: master of tact. ]

[Anyway.]
Being a bird isn't so bad. I miss some human things, like school and burgers and video games, but I can fly. And that makes up for almost everything else for me.

It's okay, Tobias-san! [ She puts a comforting hand on his arm. ] You can do all those things now! Except school, because... I'm not sure they have schools in this world! And my friend told me once you beat the gym you can even fly on your Pokémon! So you'll be able to do everything!

[Regal puffs up a bit. He's plenty big! Look how big he is!]
