HOW TO USE THIS LOG:

Ah yeah, good point. Maybe that's why these birds are so upset...I bet I'd be if I was sitting up in a tree and it suddenly fell.

Yeah. Animals also seem to be able to tell that kind of stuff before humans do. I don't know why. It's... been a while since I was in a science class where we talked about it.

[Hah....Jimmy's never been to school, so he wouldn't know.]

Yeah, that's how my dog is, back home! He always seems to know what's up.

Does he? Do you get earthquakes there, too?

Ahh, no not really! Though there's a lot of stuff happening all the time back home, and Cerbee's usually the first to pick up on it.

Like one time, everybody in town disappeared and me and Cerbee were the only people left. I was asleep when it happened, and he ended up waking me up to let me know everybody was gone.

[wing_attack]

... Wow. Was everyone okay after that?

Oh yeah, they weren't really gone! Turns out that everybody was just in their houses, asleep....so it was like the whole town was deserted!

[...it's a long story, but he's actually telling the truth.]

But I didn't know that, so I thought they were gone.

... Oh. Well, I can see why that would make your dog upset, though.

Uh huh! I'm glad I had him though. He wasn't asleep, at least.

[Jimmy pauses, petting the Fletchling in his hands carefully. It still seems nervous, but not quite as much as before.]

Hopefully he's doing okay back home.

Yeah. I'm sure he's fine. You live in a town, and you seem like you have a lot of friends, so I 'm sure someone's taking care of him for you.

[He nods a little in agreement.]

Yeah, you're probably right! I've left him by himself before too, so he's probably fine.

Anyway, I'm sure things will be fine here. Did you want anything for one of those birds?

Oh no, that's okay! I keep telling myself I won't get any more Pokemon for a while, but then new ones keep showing up...so I think it's best if I just keep this one little guy and let that be it for now.

[wing_attack]

I understand. I just can't help myself whenever I see a new bird Pokemon.

[awesmazings]

[Jimmy grins.]

You like Flying types, huh?

[wing_attack]

Yeah. I get along with them pretty well, since I know how to read their body language and their calls. I mean, it's not like they sound the same as the ones back home, but it's not hard to figure out if you kind of know bird calls in general.

That's pretty cool! I like Electric and Fire types the best...but not because of any of that stuff.

[wing_attack]

How come, then?

[awesmazings]

I dunno! I like Electric types cause my starter, Leader, is one...and I've got a bunch of fire types so far, and I just really like battling with them.

Plus, it gets a lot colder here than I'm used to, so they're nice to have around.

[wing_attack]

Huh. I haven't had that much problem with the weather, but I still haven't explored a lot of this place. But that makes sense.

Yeah, first week I was here it got way cold while I was traveling. Like, a lot colder than it ever usually is back home. And back then I didn't even have any fire types.

[Just a sleeping bag he couldn't fit in.]

Huh. Where I live it doesn't get too cold, but it hasn't been so bad for me so far.

Maybe it won't be! I actually hope it snows sometime while I'm here. I've only seen snow one time back home...and I miss it.

Snow's okay if you've got a good coat. Otherwise, it really really sucks.
