Summary: Just like always, the Circus is busy as usual... But with a bit of a spooky twist added on thanks to their current partnership with a certain Haunted House.

The Circus is always bustling with activity, even on the days when the shows in the Big Top aren't on. There's plenty of stalls to enjoy besides those, after all! Games, and food, and stalls with all sorts of interesting things for sale. For those living in Goldenrod or passing through, it's no doubt quickly settled itself as a regular scene.

On the 11th, however... Just as always when the shows are promised to happen, the Circus is more bustling than usual and today there's a twist. On the 11th, those walking past the Circus' gates will find themselves in QUITE the different atmosphere. Genuine spider webs are strung across the stalls, skulls strung up in them that seem to clack their teeth at passerby. legions of pumpkins are sprawled throughout the area. At night, and on the foggy day of the 13th, their eerie glow lights up twisting paths throughout the circus grounds. Even quite a few of the workers seem to have gotten into the spirit (possibly at their boss' badgering), and wear outfits from the simple masks to the more complex things.

Beyond the change in atmosphere, however, there are still the things that are usually about! Food, games, and stalls selling various knickknacks can all be found relatively easy although they're joined by a few other themed goods. There's also, of course, the show that will be playing three times a day in the big tent proper!

One notable addition is what appears to be a small station of sorts with a rather ominous carriage that stops at it every now and then pulled by what appear to be a pair of Rapidash... only colored darkly with bones painted across their heads and what might be actual skulls acting as face covers. Well then! Perhaps you might be interested in letting it take you to Jack's Haunted House?

So relax. Have fun! And cross your fingers that you're not terrified of scary clowns and giant spiders.

[She wants to say "No, not really, I plan on going back..." but....technically yeah, she kinda did.

She looks up at that, though, tilting her head.]

...Really?

{That's right.}

[Mira kneels down now as well, putting her hand onto her partner's shoulder.]

{When we were first starting, a Lilligant came to us, and she's been with us ever since.}

She stayed? ...a-and her trainer didn't mind?

[She can't imagine Nagi being so lenient, especially with his insistence on her working with him using her telekinesis.]

[It's a good thing Mylo is there to take charge, because Mira sure can't speak the truth on this.]

>Yeah! It was fine.

[She seems to ponder that for a moment, glancing back over her shoulder again.]

Mmm...well...I don't know if I'll be staying for long, but...I wanted to come anyway.

{Then we can show you around, if you'd like.}

[Mylo gives a nod of agreement.]

Are you sure you wouldn't mind?

>It would be fun! We've been doing nothing but work all day anyway.<

{Besides, it's our job to make sure that everyone has fun here.}

Well....okay! Thank you both very much.

[She dips her head politely to them, giving a small curtsey.]

Call me Uchi.

[The Gardevoir gives a small giggle.]

{My name is Mira, and this is Mylo. It's a pleasure to meet you.}

>You should dress up with us. It's becoming Halloween, after all.

Dress up..?

[She echoes, bringing her hand up to touch her chin. Well, their costumes were very pretty...

So after a moment of thought she smiles, nodding.]

Okay, I'd love to!

{Come on, then.} [Mira offers her hand.] {You'll match everything in no time.}

[Uchi takes Mira's hand with a small smile, nodding. There won't be any harm in dressing up and enjoying the festivities for a little while...right?]

[With all the utter grace her species posses, Mira pulls herself up and starts to guide Uchi along to one of the little dressing areas. Mylo speaks up as they go along.]

>It's nice to have another psychic type here, especially one of our own. Everything's been so weird lately, so we have to stand together.

[Uchi nods slowly in agreement, looking over at Mylo.]

My trainer has a lot of psychic types. All of us have been hurting lately...

>Something bad is happenig... It's really annoying.<

[Mira frowns as well, but pats Uchi's head reassuringly.]

{I'm sure it will pass. You and your friends can always come to us whenever you're hurting.}

Thank you...but I probably shouldn't try to sneak away too often. I don't want my trainer to get upset.

>Just leave him a note saying you'll be back soon. Our Ringleader says we can do anything if we like so long as we let him know and it won't get the Circus in trouble.

Mmm...well...it is a bit more complicated than that.

{Is he a very strict trainer?}

[Whereas Mira approaches the subject with some delicacy, Mylo has no such reservations.]

[Mylo...]

A-ah....he is...very strict, yes. But...more than that, he prefers to, um...keep to himself, usually. Some people are different, but it all depends...

[She isn't supposed to talk about it, so.]

[Listen he knows there are dickbag trainers okay

just tellin' it like it is]

>He sounds like someone Invidia has been meaning to get closer to because his Pokemon are lonely. It sucks that there are trainers like that out there.

Perhaps...

[She will neither confirm nor deny.]

But he is a good person. Just...not sure how to be. At least, that is what Neba says.

{If he's a good person, than I'm sure he would understand if you explained things to him.}

[Mira is doing her best to be encouraging. Mylo does not seem so sure about it.]

...I guess I can give it a try. I'm just...a bit scared.
