A few at a time, the Murkrows moved into the light, and it became obvious very quickly that there was a lot of them. At least two or three Murkrows covered every available surface in Henry and Veronica's immediate vicinity.

Shortly afterward, Henry seemed to finally pull his attention away from cuddling Ako, and noticed the rest of the flock. "Oh," he told Ako, laughing. "These are my friends! Most of the time they don't swarm like this, but maybe it's a special occasion."
