Asami certainly wasn't the only one attacking the crystals; a garchomp seemed to be quite thoroughly enjoying blowing them up nearby, while a lucario and gallade seemed to have started a game of "destroy some crystals, lure in some grunts with the fireworks, thrash said grunts, repeat" close at hand. Their trainer, however, seemed to be nowhere in sight.... until the garchomp succeed in toppling a rather large crystal in such a way that sent it falling towards one of the more crowded parts of the field. The lucario spotted it and let out a cry, though neither he nor the gallade was in a position to reach it in time...
"Just! Valiant!"
A certain silver-haired trainer was rushing across the field on his arcanine, and even as he shouted he raised a pair of pokéballs. The lucario and gallade were recalled, then in a single swift motion sent out again, this time leaping from their respective balls in the proper direction in what was clearly a well-practiced maneuver. An Aura Sphere and a Shadow Ball later, and the crystal exploded into harmless fragments and dust.
For his part, Sion allowed himself a brief sigh of relief, which the crystal-attacking trio promptly took as their cue to dash off to see what more havoc they could wreak.
