Who: Botan and Crocker

Summary: Catching up and unraveling more mysteries of the Pokemon world

Walking to the park in Goldenrod, Crocker has a cup of steaming coffee in one hand and a notebook tucked underneath his arm. Growlithe following loyally behind and Sylveon back in the Pokeball. Crocker appears to be a little tired but he had spent at least an hour trying to get the Sylveon back into the Pokeball because the Pokemon just wouldn't stop licking him. Which was coming on a little strong. Granted Growlithe does kiss her trainer with her tongue but not constantly.

Denzel also had mixed feelings about the Sylveon giving affection because in all of his life he's never known anything good coming from fairies -at least nothing he remembers- After all, fairies tend to be under Timmy Turner's control. On one hand the man does like this. Almost like he sort of got something back that he lost but it's confusing and a little awkward.

On top of, this is something fairy. Should he imprison it and use it for it's magic? Even if it seems to have great affection for him?

Right now, the man is just interested in the adventure that happened and how that connected with the pink crystals, which is tucked in shirt pocket next to his pen, and seeing Botan in general. It was always nice to see her, "We're going to see Botan."

In which Growlithe gives an excited bark and wag of her tail. Now, where is she? After all, there's not many places one can hide in a park.

Botan, in the meanwhile, had packed up a mini picnic for her friend and his team to share. She's sitting with an air of serenity typical of her, her Sylveon is out and bounding around the open space.

Of course, the reason she gave him the Sylveon is because she wants so terribly for him to be happy, and she feels like the brand new Eeveelution is just the thing to help that. He's not a person used to genuine affection or people caring about him, she could tell that from what they've talked about. The man is very unhappy, but him coming to the realization that he became exactly what he disliked as a child is a good step forward.

When Botan sees Crocker, she stands and waves to him. "Good day, Denzel!"

Her Sylveon stops and raises his bizarre feelers to mimic his trainer's waving.

Growlithe runs ahead of Denzel and barks friendly in greeting Botan and her Pokemon. She may or may not go to lick Botan's face.

Meanwhile, when Crocker's attention is caught he gives a slight wave in acknowledge and something twinkling in his eyes. He was very glad to see her.

"Hello. How are -"

The man's face twitches. It's a - FAIRY!

Crocker goes to lung after her Sylveon as his coffee flies into the air. Old habits die hard.

Well.

That certainly wasn't the right thing to do. Hinageshi retreats to underneath the bench and Botan pushes her hands forward to stop the man.

"Denzel Crocker, what do you think you're doing?"

Denzel, meanwhile stops and smiles nervously he's stopped by a pair of hands, and laughs nervously because he was lectured not to steal Pokemon.

"Not what it looks like?... That is I wouldn't steal from you - SORRY! Old habits die hard?"

His face twitches.

"Well they need to die faster, you have your own Sylveon, even, you have no reason to steal from me. Not that there's a good reason to steal from anyone, let alone your friends."

She absolutely didn't come out here to guilt trip him, but he was the one that sprung first--literally speaking.

"Anyway...that's not what we're here for, is it? Come have something to eat."

"Yes, yes, I do." The man cringes and slowly backs away from the Fairy - type Pokemon.

"Nothing personal." Denzel gives Botan a dead-pan look, no reason to bring that up again.

"Oh, thank you. Don't mind if I do. How have you been?"

Growlithe comes over with the notebook in her mouth and the man takes the notebook and opens that, "Oh right! Where exactly did Sylveon come from anyways?"

"I've been fine, same as usual..."

Besides the fighting for justice thing, that she's not really used to. Hinageshi peeks out from under the bench to be sure the coast is clear and ventures out, hugging close to Botan's legs and giving Crocker a wary look.

"I believe Arceus summoned them, in all technicality, but as for where they're from they seem to have come from the Kalos region--that odd France-looking place that people have been contacting us from recently. It seems they discovered that Eevee can evolve into this form a while back."

Denzel gives Botan a small sincere smile, "I'm glad to hear. FAIRIES!"

Crocker seems to be paying more attention to his notebook than Hinageshi, Growlithe on the other hand is and in Pokemon talk apologizes for her trainer's behavior.

"Wait... Arceus? And why did he summon you? France-looking place?!"

"Calm down, would you?"

Really, how does he not get exhausted from all of that?

"Arceus seems to be a godlike-Pokemon. Not sure if it's the one responsible for everything or not, but it summoned us to stop a load of eco-terrorists. It turns out some jokers calling themselves 'Team Aqua' and 'Team Magma' have been responsible for the earthquakes, trying to disturb more legendary Pokemon from their slumber." A pause. "Are you still following me?"

Denzel nods as he's quickly down notes, "Arceus, godlike - Pokemon. Team Aqua, Team Magma. And what where they doing? Drilling a hole?"

As the man looks up at Botan, "Yes, continue."
