[Dante peers at the red and white ball, frowning thoughtfully. She ignores Wrath - he isn't going anywhere. She shakes it lightly, unable to determine the weight of it. It's not heavy, and yet...]

Hmm.

[She turns it in her hands and presses her thumb against what looks like a button.]

<sub>[The result is instantaneous. A blinding flash of light erupts from the ball-- making Wrath gasp and leap backwards slightly-- and then forms into a shape. A very large shape.]

[When the light fades, a third (fourth, if you count Dante's little feline tagalong) figure has joined them. Its skin is leathery and brown and it stands on two muscular legs, with an equally-muscular tail sweeping through the snow behind it. Long ivory fangs curl down from its mouth and a pair of dark, intelligent red eyes glimmer out from underneath massive, bony brows.]

[She rumbles.]

[It's cold. Not good for the baby.]

[Snorting out a pluff of steam, she leans forward to sniff at Dante.]
