So Make A Wish On Heaven
Who: Participants of the Dream Plot!
Where: In your dreams!
When: Anytime your character is asleep on April 17th!
Summary: As promised, this is a catch-all log where people can post a character's dream as a top-level comment and allow other holders of our Mysterious Feathers™ to come visit them! Remember that the content of your dream is entirely up to your discretion, but we ask that you only have one, and to please also warn for content as needed!
Rating: PG, and please warn for threads that may go higher!
Log:
[Under the light of the full moon, the Mysterious Feathers™ begin to glow.
In the hours that follow after they sprawl out to sleep, those who had the good fortune (or at least the insatiable curiosity) to pick up one of those feathers earlier in the week will come to discover that something very strange is happening across the regions of Johto and Kanto. There's a saying about what happens when you let your mind wander; this time, though, it's a little more than just one's mind that's going wandering, as dream after dream stretches out before you like a horizon just begging to be chased.
Don't worry about getting lost, dreamers; as real and vivid as they may seem, your surroundings are really only visions and illusions, and in the end the failsafe way to escape from them is to simply wake up. If and when you do, you might feel perfectly well-rested or as on-edge as if you'd just jolted awake from a nightmare; like the dreams themselves, there's really no telling how the experience will play out for you, being different and unique to everyone.
But for now, you've got the whole night ahead of you, filled with places to go and people to see. Might as well make the most of it while it lasts...]

Alphonse Elric | Fullmetal Alchemist
Well, that's not entirely accurate.
You might hear the clanking first, or notice the glint of light on steel, but in this wasteland with you is a tall, imposing suit of armor, the patterns on it glowing a dull, disturbing red. It stops for a moment when it sees you, then slowly walks closer and speaks with a surprisingly young voice.
"I...I didn't expect to see anyone here."
no subject
He tilts his head a little at the voice, though. It sounds...familiar, but...
"...who are you?"
no subject
"I'm Alphonse." He recognized Jimmy, but he couldn't quite remember from where just yet, still held in that weird sway of dream-logic and the memory it came from. "You...you really shouldn't be here, though."
no subject
"...why? There isn't anyone else here, is there?"
no subject
The lines on his armor glow a little brighter, and he looks down at himself with an air of worry.

The metallic clanking of Al's footsteps is immediately familiar, in spite of Scar's having not heard it in so long. When the boy speaks, Scar turns to him with a grim frown. Only one question comes to mind, and he isn't even sure Al will know.
"Is this Lior?"
no subject
There's no accusation, no blame in Al's voice. It's just a statement of fact. But something's niggling at the back of his mind..something isn't right here. Didn't Scar die?
"How did you get here?"
no subject
"Could we be dead?"
no subject
"Are you hurt?" His arms are back somehow, but...well, Scar's just as bad as Edward at getting hurt. It's worth asking.
no subject
"My arms were gone." He was talking more to himself than Alphonse. Scar's brow suddenly furrowed. There were no details. He just knew- "I was shot."
They really were alone in the middle of nowhere. When the dunes came to rest just right, you used to be able to see Ishbal from here. Naturally, there wasn't anything to see anymore.

Hope you don't mind new CR :)
"Neither did I! Mostly endless deserts tend to be pretty empty, in my experience. I'm Carlos. Carlos the Scientist. ...Can I just say, your suit is really fascinating! I've never seen one quite like it."
the noise I made omg
He pauses then, looking out around the desert before turning back to Carlos.
"How did you get here?"
haha a happy noise I hope!

He stands still as the armor comes closer, ready to move if it had any ill intent. The viper even raises up, but they both relax when they hear the child's voice. He isn't exactly sure how to respond, or why such a young voice is coming from such a large suit of armor. "I did not expect to find anyone here either, says Meredith."

"Have you seen anyone else? I...I'm looking for my brother."

A desert.
Well, that's new, and it means she's not in her own dream anymore.
Which is A-OK by her.
You don't wanna know what Heather's dreams look like.
A trip to an endless desert might be a little dull, but it's a breath of fresh air.
Or was, until the Iron Giant's baby cousin showed up.
Heather stops in her tracks, squinting at the approaching metallic behemoth. Until it speaks, at which point she blinks, brows shooting up.
"... And I... did not expect you to sound like that."
... Or to sound FAMILIAR for that matter.
"... Al, is that you in there? Holy shit."
no subject
"Huh?" Al shifts a little, looking down at himself and back up at her.
"Um...yes?" He's been like this for a while, hasn't he? She didn't know him before...wait, before what? Where does he know her from, shoot...
no subject
"How are you even-- is that real armor?"
She hasn't quite cottoned on to the fact that his memories are a little off-kilter-- she's strolling right up to tap on the armor curiously.
no subject
"Y-yes? It's always been!"
Those knocks on the armor ring suspiciously hollow and Al takes a step back, nervous. "Heather, what are you doing here?"
