[Under the light of the full moon, the Mysterious Feathers™ begin to glow.
In the hours that follow after they sprawl out to sleep, those who had the good fortune (or at least the insatiable curiosity) to pick up one of those feathers earlier in the week will come to discover that something very strange is happening across the regions of Johto and Kanto. There's a saying about what happens when you let your mind wander; this time, though, it's a little more than just one's mind that's going wandering, as dream after dream stretches out before you like a horizon just begging to be chased.
Don't worry about getting lost, dreamers; as real and vivid as they may seem, your surroundings are really only visions and illusions, and in the end the failsafe way to escape from them is to simply wake up. If and when you do, you might feel perfectly well-rested or as on-edge as if you'd just jolted awake from a nightmare; like the dreams themselves, there's really no telling how the experience will play out for you, being different and unique to everyone.
But for now, you've got the whole night ahead of you, filled with places to go and people to see. Might as well make the most of it while it lasts...]

Jimmy doesn't think it's this place that holds him back, it's the world beyond it. This is a haven in an unkind world, and yet...
He lifts an eyebrow, and makes a faint noise of wonder at the transformation. There's a whole hell of a lot of things he doesn't understand, and probably never will. He's not that kind of smart and he knows it.
"Guess everything's just complicated, huh?"

He's got a plan, things have just gone...badly lately. Really badly. Everyone dying and the stuff in town, what went down with Maggie, Dandy's bullshit, Elsa and the twins...
What's gonna happen to this place if he leaves?

He's... at least trying. New friends with new issues are just... difficult to try to figure out. It's not like he's ever been that great with social stuff to begin with.

He means it. Jimmy's never been a loner, despite the James Dean Rebel Without a Cause look he cultivates. He's a people person, the kind of guy who needs people, and needs people to need him in turn.

Despite everything he's seen... despite how he can be sarcastic sometimes, he can't help but be an idealist. It's hard to keep that viewpoint when he's fighting and killing, but there's always the sky and there's always a new day.
