[Under the light of the full moon, the Mysterious Feathers™ begin to glow.

In the hours that follow after they sprawl out to sleep, those who had the good fortune (or at least the insatiable curiosity) to pick up one of those feathers earlier in the week will come to discover that something very strange is happening across the regions of Johto and Kanto. There's a saying about what happens when you let your mind wander; this time, though, it's a little more than just one's mind that's going wandering, as dream after dream stretches out before you like a horizon just begging to be chased.

Don't worry about getting lost, dreamers; as real and vivid as they may seem, your surroundings are really only visions and illusions, and in the end the failsafe way to escape from them is to simply wake up. If and when you do, you might feel perfectly well-rested or as on-edge as if you'd just jolted awake from a nightmare; like the dreams themselves, there's really no telling how the experience will play out for you, being different and unique to everyone.

But for now, you've got the whole night ahead of you, filled with places to go and people to see. Might as well make the most of it while it lasts...]

That sounds reasonable enough. Raspberries and bananas may work as well. Mind you, I'm more partial to spicy foods.

[And juicy ones as well. Sweets are just too overwhelming!]

Spicy... I don't think I've had many spicy foods, but I'd like to try them, at least once.

Hmm... Well, this is a dream. If you'd rather try something a bit more zesty, I'm sure I could figure something out.

[Perhaps Grandship would be a more suitable... ngh. Well, provided he doesn't encounter more difficulties like before.]

Zesty... like what, exactly?

[ She's honestly curious--Ringabel's world is fascinating, and she really does want to see more. If the rest is anything like this, she's certain she'll be getting a treat. ]

I've found that Grandship's Proprietress makes a lovely seafood steak, and Ancheim's cuisine is rather spicy in its own right.

[Hmm, he could always try dreaming it up, though he'll wait to gauge her response before trying to manipulate the dreamscape.]

Seafood steak... you can do that?

[ ALL THIS FOOD IS AMAZING. Really, she's more curious about that than anything. ]

Of course! Cooking's rather limitless, my dear. Why, I daresay it's an art.

[A challenging one, at that. The Proprietress must have spent years honing her skills! It would explain the sheer quality of her meals.]

I had no idea... I've never cooked before, but it seems like it would be a wonderful skill to have.

[ ... Not gonna lie, the "my dear" makes her blush a teensy bit. Way to lay on the charm, Ringabel. ]

Oh, absolutely. Not only does it allow you a bit more independence, but they do say that the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

[And it's here that he winks. Why yes, he's still teasing a little about her finding a partner.]

Something simple like that--?

[ Oh geez, now she's just plain embarrassed. He's really intent on that, isn't he? ]

Indeed! It's not always about extravagance; sometimes simple, kind gestures speak more to a man's heart than anything else. This is going to sound a bit cliché, but sometimes you need only be true to yourself.

[Better that than to change for the sake of affection, really.]

No... I don't think it sounds cliché, or silly at all. I... think simple gestures say much more than something big. It's the thought that counts... isn't it?

Of course. Anyone can buy a gift, but it's meaningless if there's no heart behind it. The gesture alone matters more than the price tag, or so I'd like to believe.
