So Make A Wish On Heaven
Who: Participants of the Dream Plot!
Where: In your dreams!
When: Anytime your character is asleep on April 17th!
Summary: As promised, this is a catch-all log where people can post a character's dream as a top-level comment and allow other holders of our Mysterious Feathers™ to come visit them! Remember that the content of your dream is entirely up to your discretion, but we ask that you only have one, and to please also warn for content as needed!
Rating: PG, and please warn for threads that may go higher!
Log:
[Under the light of the full moon, the Mysterious Feathers™ begin to glow.
In the hours that follow after they sprawl out to sleep, those who had the good fortune (or at least the insatiable curiosity) to pick up one of those feathers earlier in the week will come to discover that something very strange is happening across the regions of Johto and Kanto. There's a saying about what happens when you let your mind wander; this time, though, it's a little more than just one's mind that's going wandering, as dream after dream stretches out before you like a horizon just begging to be chased.
Don't worry about getting lost, dreamers; as real and vivid as they may seem, your surroundings are really only visions and illusions, and in the end the failsafe way to escape from them is to simply wake up. If and when you do, you might feel perfectly well-rested or as on-edge as if you'd just jolted awake from a nightmare; like the dreams themselves, there's really no telling how the experience will play out for you, being different and unique to everyone.
But for now, you've got the whole night ahead of you, filled with places to go and people to see. Might as well make the most of it while it lasts...]

The chain sticks at first...and then starts to come loose with the grinding scrape of metal against rock. At least until Dante finally moves enough to place her hand back on the rock, and the chain sticks where it is.
"Did you think it would be that easy? He belongs to me, he always will."
no subject
Her eyes narrow.
She knew that bitch was holding that thing somehow...
"Does he? Does he really?"
With a growl, she lets go of the chain. The time for talking is fast approaching its end.
"Well, I've got news for you. People aren't property. And even if they were..."
She strikes out with one arm, quickly and forcefully, snatching the front of the woman's dress (if she can) and yanking her forward, conveniently into the clenched, fisted knuckles of the other hand.
"Property can be confiscated."
no subject
She doesn't resist being grabbed or pulled forward, in this dream she doesn't have the autonomy for that. But punching her feels real enough, and seeing the blood stream from her nose--it smells strongly of rot and decay--is probably very satisfying for Heather.
Less satisfying is the fact that the dream Dante doesn't actually make any noise or indication that she's just probably had her nose broken, keeping that same smugly neutral expression.
no subject
Sure, it's satisfying-- but not as satisfying as it should be.
Lip curling, Heather gives the woman a vicious shake, fingers still curled into the dress.
"What, cat got your fucking TONGUE?! Bitch!"
Furiously, she reaches out with the punching hand to grab at the chain, yanking on it hard. Fine, she can just keep that shitty-ass smarmy look, but she won't stop Heather from taking the chain.

Dante shakes her head, that look still firmly in place...save for a slight crease of annoyance in her brow that, if Envy were here to see it, would have turned his veins to ice whether or not she could actually do anything in this dream world.
"Such a troublesome child. If only you'd had some proper discipline. But there's no helping some."
no subject
And she wastes no time gathering it up in loops in that free hand, growling, "Trouble is my middle name, lady."
It's as the chain rattles in her hand that an idea pops into her head. More than an idea. A notion. A cruel one.
Straightening up, her fist still buried in Dante's dress, she holds up the chain.
"Why don't you take a WALK with me?"
In swift, brutal jerks, she whips the chain around and around the young woman's neck.
no subject
Taking her for that walk won't be difficult.
Meanwhile, back on the cliff, Envy is just growing INCREASINGLY CONCERNED. HE HASN'T HEARD FROM HEATHER FOR A WHILE. WHAT'S HAPPENING??
no subject
Fortunately, he'll be getting an answer soon enough.
It starts with that one chain leading back into the shadows starting to give. Then he'll hear the clanking, and sound of something being half-walked, half-dragged.
And then Heather herself appears, head low, yanking Dante along behind her on the very same chain that is holding Envy himself.
HERE ENVY.
SHE'S BRINGING YOU A PRESENT.
no subject
Of all the things he could have expected to see when he felt the chain start to give, when he heard those footsteps...
Heather dragging his former master by the chain, and not just dragging but yanking her along, while Dante doesn't do a damn thing to stop it...it's safe to say that this is never a sight he would have expected to see EVER.
He can't even find words until she's gotten closer.
"Heather, what...?"

She reaches a hand in the direction of Envy's ankles, hoarsely whispering his name in a cloying, pleading tone. He shuffles back away from her hand, staring down at her with widened eyes. Mainly out of lingering shock, but there's the tiniest bit of fear there too, even if she hasn't made any moves to fight back or transmute. He doesn't know what to think about all this. He doesn't even know where to start thinking.
Absently, he had noted that vicious yank, noted the hardness behind his friend's out of place grin. He might not be AS concerned about it as, say, your average person would be. But it's DEFINITELY unexpected coming from her, and honestly is weird and concerning enough that he notices. He finally wrenches his eyes off Dante and up at Heather, uncertain.
He's not going to help his ex-master up. But he's not going to do anything ELSE to her either.
"So...now what?"
What else can he say? Maybe if he was properly awake, maybe if he hadn't been so surprised, he'd ask her what she was doing and why she was treating Dante in much the same manner as he would once have treated an Elric. For now, he's stuck on not wanting Dante right there looking up at him.
no subject
But she's grinning at Envy like a dog that just brought its master some semi-chewed-on slippers.
"Whatever you want! Look, she can't do shit."
She aims a none-too-gentle kick at Dante's side.
no subject
In fact, he's pretty much the opposite of enthusiastic. He doesn't wince when Heather kicks Dante, but he sure doesn't make any moves to follow her example.
He doesn't think that his legs would go through with it even if he tried.
It's a delayed response, but he does manage to force out a weak laugh, his eyes firmly back on Dante now and his voice feeling like it's coming from a long way off, "No, she can't. But...maybe you should just get rid of her."
If it were Hohenheim, he'd be all over this. But it's not, and he doesn't want to admit that he can't.
no subject
WHY WOULDN'T HE WANT THE SATISFACTION HIMSELF?
Here in dreamland, all the genuine logic and understanding she'd shown towards his admitted difficulty turning on his master is a little beyond her grasp-- her bloodthirst is in charge right now, and she's clearly excited to be sharing it with her pal!
But SOME part of what he's saying gets through to her, because some measure of realization dawns on her face, and she nods.
"Oh yeah? I think I can do that for ya."
no subject
This is a little bit different.
But he can worry about THAT surprise later, he just wants Dante gone. Even chained and helpless at his feet, she's still frightening, he can't believe that she won't somehow do something. So it's a relief when Heather agrees.
"Whatever you want to do, I don't care. Just get her out of here."
no subject
Thy will be done.
Looking down to the ensnared woman at her feet, Heather bends down with a cruel sneer.
"Y'hear that? Your so-called 'property' says I can do whatever I want with you! That'll be fun, huh? GET UP!"
She straightens up again, wrenching Dante upright with her.
no subject
He may not be able to hurt her himself, but watching it isn't entirely a bad thing. He only flinches when Dante reaches out at him again with her hand that isn't clutching at the chain, croaking out words finally, "Envy...you wouldn't let this happen to your mother, would you?"
He grinds his teeth, not able to help turning his eyes to the ground and clenching his fists with a force that turns his knuckles white and would probably break someone's arm.
"I'm not stopping her. I'm not your property."
And honestly, there's a part of him that's morbidly curious as to just what Heather is intending to do.
no subject
But too late to take it back now.
When Dante tries to speak, it's pretty much only for the sake of letting Envy reply that Heather lets her at all. Yes. GOOD. Good, Envy. You did good. You are brave.
And there is really no need whatsoever to hang onto the chained-up woman now.
Turning away from the Homunculus, Heather wastes no time. She doesn't even slow down to savor it. With a burst of force that can only be described as eager, Heather ferociously unwinds the chain and straight-up HEAVES DANTE OVER THE CLIFF'S EDGE.
And then stands there, staring downwards into the pit.
