[The Torchic is very receptive to the attention, nudging her head up into Osaka's hand.]
...shee, uh. ...she doesn't have one.
...shee, uh. ...she doesn't have one.
[Honestly, that hasn't registered at all. On top of seeing such...weird creatures all around, he hasn't had much of a chance to stop and contemplate what's going on here beyond the fact that he's currently trapped in the midst of it all.]
At least you've managed to assimilate to this new way of life, then.
[He still might be a little bitter about everything that went down between them for...ALL the wrong reasons, but at least Elsa can't actually rule Arendelle properly while she's trapped in another world. That's...something of a small comfort.]

[Hans can pretty much tell what's coming as Anna approaches him like that, and in any other situation he might have actually had the forethought to duck out of the way of her fist. But that's a lot easier said than done when you have a small, flaming horse right next to you in catching-your-clothes-on-fire range absolutely losing her shit because she can also tell what's coming. It makes it significantly harder for Hans to react either way.
In other words, her knuckles end up finding his nose without too much trouble, causing his head to snap sharply to the side. The Ponyta, bless her heart, comes around Hans' other side as he lifts his hand to cup his face, giving a sharp little whinny in Anna's direction. She doesn't actually approach her at all, instead content to scream at her from a distance.
Hans groans behind his gloved hand, and the heat beneath his fingers is enough to tell him that his nose is probably bleeding. Not broken at least, but he's going to have a very nasty bruise for his troubles. He glares at Anna, hissing without lowering his hand just yet.]
Feel better?

[Anna could care less about the horse right now, not even bothering to acknowledge the brave little Ponyta as it wee-snaws at her. She shakes her hand around a bit, trying to draw less attention to the fact that her entire upper body is trembling as she gives him a stern glare in return.]
Had to get it out of my system. I was feeling just fine until I saw you of all people.
[Someone's playing some kind of cruel, sick joke on her for now, but at least she can try and minimize the damage.]
Does my sister know you're here?

Ohh. [Apparently satisfied with this answer, Osaka returns to quietly petting the birdie. However, a few seconds later, she pipes up again.]
You look like a "Higashimon."
[Yup sure did just name your fire chicken after a street in Kobe.]

[He straightens up slightly, finally lowering his hand from his face to examine his glove. Yep, there's a smear of blood there, and it prompts him to bring his hand back up to wipe his nose with the edge of it. It's definitely less than graceful but he really doesn't care at the moment, and it shows in his expression as he narrows his gaze at her.]
Yes. Though she neglected to warn me that you would be coming at me with your fists flying.

[He's seen a lot of this world since he'd left Unova; his travels have taken him many places, he's made quite a lot of friends and maybe spoken with several humans here and there as well, but nowhere he's been has seemed quite like this.
It's...interesting, in a slightly overstimulating sort of way; those he manages to speak to and befriend are used to strange humans coming and going, not just from this world but from others as well – humans who can speak to them and use powers like theirs once in a great while, and it's all very intriguing in its own right. Who's to say that some of those humans who can create ice and lightning from their hands aren't close to the solution he still seeks from time to time, the variable in the formula drawn to the front of his mind in Chargestone Cave connecting all humans and Pokémon together?
It's very, very interesting, if more than a bit overwhelming.
He can mostly be found in wooded areas, or in places that are a little more secluded and less prone to blowing right up with no warning; often he'll have a small cluster of friends with him, Pokémon that he's talking to and playing with like it ain't even a thing – he's a bit fascinated with the Espurrs right now, because they're sort of adorable if a bit quizzically so, and he finds Carbinks to be simultaneously utter sweethearts and downright baffling, but he's managing to get himself acquainted with Gen VI well enough.
Of course, he's not opposed to talking to humans, either; it might just take him a moment to realize they're there.]

[Well...that much he can't argue with, at least. But it still just seems ridiculous to amass almost 20 creatures like that, no matter what sorts of abilities they possess. Maybe it's something he'll just have to get used to, whether he likes it or not.
But something about that reminds him of something- and you better believe he's going to bring it up.]
...your powers. Is that why the people here don't mind your presence? Because they have creatures who can do the exact same, or more?

[Oh, it's someone who knows hi-- wait, crap, he just materialized swords out of nowhere, that's probably bad. No, he can still salvage this somehow.
White hair, red eyes-- nope, can't recognize her.]
Are you a classmate? [????]

[And for a brief moment it's clear that he doesn't know what to do with that; his expression doesn't slip entirely but he blinks a bit at it, and the reaction is slightly more pronounced on the left side of his face than it is his right, and there's something weird and blank behind his eyes before he seems to get his bearings.]
You really are being helpful today; it's been a while since I've been offered a casual invitation like that.
[And that actually is entirely true; even before the last six months had rendered him...socially unavailable, he'd never really been the sort invited on casual outings - there were professional obligations and all, of course, but he really only did casual things with...well, someone whose friendship didn't work out, to put it very gently.
(That bastard, he hopes he dies.)]
I don't usually drink, but that doesn't mean I won't make an exception for you. I don't see why not.

[As much as that warms him, it's still sinking in. He was someone's grandson before, someone's brother, but to be someone's son...he manages a faint nod, a soft smile crossing his face in return.]
Then we'll go when you're ready.
[Whenever that is. Maybe when Shuuhei recovers all the way. Keeping up with an Arcanine is tough work!]

She probably figured it'd be better to keep it a surprise...
[She says that, but even so, that seems like a mess of a conversation in and of itself...the thought of him saying something that would hurt her sister again makes her dig her fingernails into her palms again, but she restrains herself from going in for a second punch.]
And how long have you been here for? You're all the way out here in Olivine, so it has to have at least been a couple of weeks.
[Then again, things are pretty darn wonky this weekend, between Elsa getting her powers back and everything being out of sorts.]

[To that the Torchic peeps happily, while Roman just sortof watches Osaka, making a face that betrays how much he doesn't want to be here right now.]
...you know, if you like her so much, why don't you just keep her?

[Should he intervene...? There's no way that a girl that small could have an appetite so - so ... masculine? Ravenous? Terrifying? He's almost afraid to come near her. She might mistake him for a talking sandwich. Even so, Rin steps close enough to have his voice heard over the munching.]
...Are you some kind of food competitor? Holy shit, where does it all go...

Weeks? It's barely been a few days.
[He replies incredulously. He doesn't even know where Olivine is, exactly, much less be aware that that's actually where he is at the moment. His travels have been fairly aimless thus far, and he doesn't have a Gear or anything with a map...]

[Hans' expression shifts only a bit, because that wasn't the answer he'd been expecting to hear.]
I wouldn't get used to it, even so. I think you know well what would happen if you did.

I don't know. She's following me around but that doesn't mean she's mine.
[Of course the little bird resents that sort of attitude, looking up at her trainer with a bit of a glare and a scratch of her talons against the earth.]

[ It's been a while since Hilda left Unova to search for a certain green-haired individual. She's been to Sinnoh, where she learned the hard way that shorts are not appropriate to wear in winter, and she's been to Hoenn where the weather and climate are warmer and she spent many hours sort of just drifting along the water routes on the back of her Samurott looking up at the sky and wondering where she's supposed to go next. The world is a big place and she is just one girl; the odds aren't exactly in her favor, when it comes to finding that person.
Hilda doesn't give up, however, because she's that kind of person.
When he's in the middle of FTEing those Carbinks, she's wandering around in his general vicinity with her trusty Calendeer trotting along behind her, its antlers covered in thick green foliage. She's wearing the same old shorts because they're comfy and easy to wear and nobody's going to take her joy from her. ]
Sawsbuck, should we take a break? [ She turns around as she addresses her deer, and then she notices the cluster of Carbinks that appear to have gathered around someone.
Someone very familiar-looking and for a second she just stands there, staring at him. ]

Actually, I think that's how it works! That's how I met Puchipuchi here. [She picks up the Jigglypuff as she stands up, and it coos appreciatively.] If they wanna be your friend, they follow you.
