It's a birthday!

Who: Lightning bylight and Serah failnought Farron and guests!
(Basically anyone who knows one of the sisters and is in Cerulean)
Where: Cerulean City (waterpark during the till the afternoon, then the aquarium for the rest of the day)
When: July 6th
Summary: It's Serah's birthday! And Lightning wants her to have a good one
one, so off to the waterpark and aquarium they go!

[Lightning worked hard to make sure her sister had no idea what she was planning. Her excuse to getting some many cupcakes? Family party in the apartment they were renting. Serah would instead wake up to no sister, cupcakes, or Pokémon. Just a note that tells her where and when to be somewhere.

Where?

The waterpark.

This is just the start of five hundred years of missing family events.]

So am I. So, what ride next?

How about the wave pool. We can see if either of us is any good at surfing.

[Watch them be naturals.]

Surfing, huh? I can't see why we can't give it a shot.

[She nods and leads her sister to the wave pool]

Not too crowded over here.

The whole place is kind of quiet today, isn't it?

[ She follows her sister. ]

Do you want to go first?

Maybe because's it's a weekday.

[She thinks, then nods. Time to see if she can do this.]

Maybe so. We'll have to come more often at a time like this if that's right!

[ Clapping her hands together! ]

You can do it!

[bylight]

I'd like that. Our Pokémon like it here, too.

[She nods and grabs a board. There's no hesitation as she gets on the board and does a damn good job staying on it for quite a while.]

Go Lightning!

[ Serah's her own personal cheerleader, and what few other visitors are here watch with interest--she's good. ]

[After about twenty minutes, she hops off and lets the board shoot away with the waves.]

That wasn't so hard.

That was amazing, Lightning! Great job!

[bylight]

[She pokes Serah's forehead.] Your turn.

[failnought]

Right!

[ She takes the board from Lightning and gets on the ride. She's not bad at it, but her five minutes has nothing on Lightning's run. ]

[Light is still proud of her. She goes over and helps Serah out of the pool.]

We can always come back and practice.

I think that's definitely a plan. Before you know it, I might be able to catch up to you!

I see. So t's a competition?

[failnought]

Why not? We could use a little bit of friendly competition, right?

[bylight]

Right. We finally have a chance to do so.

[failnought]

We can even invite our friends to watch and judge, too.

[bylight]

Get them to join in as well?

[failnought]

Definitely. We'll make it a tournament!

Would we give out prizes?

[failnought]

Of course! But only if they're handmade.

So you'll be baking a lot?

Definitely. It'll help with my skills, at least!
