"What do you mean? Everyone looked like they were having so much fun..." He even turned his camera around to SHOW him the silhouettes of the happy frolicking people around the fire.
Envy leans forward to look at the pictures...oh. Oh no, Henry. That is not frolicking. But he CAN make out Scar's blocky silhouette, which confirms that he was here and that he's likely why Lust ran off.
"Nnnot so much. Al and I got in a fistfight, but that's worked out now. I think Scar showed up and...I don't know what happened there, but it was bad and Lust's run off somewhere. Heather went to go find her. You're probably lucky that you were out taking pictures for all of it."
He glances back at the pictures of all of them, "...but maybe you shouldn't keep those pictures."
"Mmmn." Well he certainly didn't want to get anything printed that would make his friends upset. His brow furrowed and he looked between Al and Envy again. Then he looked back to Flotsam.
"We'll need to take these again. You two. Pose. Pretend to have fun. Flotsam, we're going back out to sea for just a little longer."
And without waiting for argument, he turned and called his ice-type to follow him.
Al had been following the conversation with a faintly embarassed frown, holding a soda to his own face, but when Henry makes his declaration he blinks and his jaw goes slack.
Wait, he wants them to--what? For a picture?!
"I--Henry, I don't think--" Al casts a horribly confused glance to Envy. TELL YOUR FRIEND HOW LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE THIS IS!!
soon, Henry was bobbing in the surf again with one arm around Flotsam's shell rather than wrestling with the big floaty. He lifts his arm and shouts back over the waves.
Unfortunately, Envy and Al's 'act natural' kind of IS getting into a fistfight. So they'll just have to do the opposite of that.
How are they going to look like they're having fun? Envy reaches out and just CLAPS ONE HAND ON AL'S SHOULDER, other hand on his own hip and bent over slightly like he's laughing at the great joke Al clearly just told.
LOOK AT US. WE'RE HAVING SUCH FUN. WHAT GOOD FRIENDS WE ARE.
In the back of his mind, Al is having a moment and wonder how, just how this exact event is happening right at this moment. It's too ludicrous, too stupid to actually be real.
How.
Why.
This is his life now. This is it.
Taking Envy's lead, Al brings his hands up in an imitation of animated chatter, plastering the biggest, most awkward grin across his face and hoping it doesn't look too forced. (It totally does.)

His shoulders sagged as he frowned down at his camera.
"Oh..."
But. But. Aesthetic.

Envy scratches the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Well...it's up to you whether you want to keep them or not."

HENRY WANTS TO TAKE A PHOTO. IT'S HAPPENING.
"You heard him. We're going to pose."
Envy sighs and drops his makeshift icepack down on one of the logs. ...and okay, Al's face is actually funny enough to almost make this worth it.
"Yell when you get out far enough, Henry."

"Uh...okay, then."
Al sets the soda down and pushes himself up uncertainly to his feet. What is his life becoming?
