[ It's raining heavily today, with huge drops splattering down from the dark clouds above. Most people would take one look out the window and decide that today is a perfect day for staying indoors and relaxing by the fireplace - Chie and Tsukiyama are not like most people, however, and if the rain is supposed to deter them from heading over to the ruins outside Violet then it's failing miserably.
They've both been bored lately and ancient ruins containing trapdoors and puzzles sound like an excellent way to cure that boredom, after all.
The first thing Chie notices when she steps inside the ruins is the sheer amount of ancient-looking Unown symbols that cover the worn stone walls; there appears to be thousands of them, all carved into stone with great care and precision. She closes her umbrella with a soft click and puts it away in one of the side pockets on her backpack before moving closer to get a better look at the symbols. ]

There's no way to stay entirely dry in rainstorms like that, umbrellas and coats be damned; the humidity and the slightest breeze are going to get the dampness of it all into your clothes, into your hair and skin, and Tsukiyama doesn't mind it in the slightest. That doesn't make the umbrella pointless, of course, and he's certainly got one with him; it just means that once he's snapped it closed and slid it into the bag he's got with him (the one he'd gotten on the start of this little adventure, the one he's taken to carrying a lot of places over the last several months) he's going to be taking a moment to rake his fingers through his hair, shaking it out a little and trying to get some sort of volume back into it while he's wandering around, getting the back of it off his neck.]
