[The change in weather this month just wasn't agreeing with Elsa.

Even after almost a year in this land, Elsa still adjusted to the change in seasons rather slowly. She never really had to worry about it before, since her magic always kept her body at a cool enough temperature, and Arendelle's summers weren't drastically warmer than spring or fall. But here, without any sort of magic to help her...

It wasn't so bad normally, since the weather changes were so gradual... but this month had been downright bizarre, and her body was trying to keep up.

So she told herself last week that it wasn't a big deal that she was feeling off. She ignored it, waved off any concern from her companions, and generally fought against the lightheadedness and coughing that had been plaguing her. But ignoring a growing sickness is totally different from ignoring her powers. Meaning it was too late to do anything when it finally hit her hard with the latest bitter temperature drop, not long after the intense snowball fight she had with Anna and Asami. Still, she tried to fight it...

A fight which may in fact be a losing one. Currently, the poor queen has planted herself in front of the window of their small room at the inn, face pressed to the near-freezing glass as she whines in a very childish manner.]

The snow's not going away anytime soon, I don't think. And I'm obviously willing to stay inside and take a day off if you are. Card games don't seem like a bad idea, though, I'm more than okay with poker or something!

[Elsa looks between her sister and her friend, a somewhat wary expression on her face. Like she thinks they're plotting something behind her back....]

Well, if that's what you two want, I suppose...

[Even sick and grumpy, Elsa still tries thinking of everyone before herself.]

[Asami pokes into her bag for some cards. She also SUBTLY pulls out water bottles for everyone as to not draw attention to the fact that she's trying to keep Elsa hydrated.]

[ Asami, you truly are heaven-sent. ]

It's as good a way to spend the day as any, I think! And the storm's only getting heavier, y'know..!

[A PLOT IS STILL A PLOT, ASAMI. SHE KNOWS YOU'RE PLANNING SOMETHING.]

I... suppose you're right... and it's not something that we'll need to stop and rest after playing, so that's good too.

[Asami settles down on the floor of the hotel room and starts shuffling.]

Okay, so... What do you guys want to play?

Well, to be honest, I don't really know how to play much other than Solitaire...

Same here. [Elsa shrugs, wiping at her nose. She's still a little suspicious, but if she has to play along...] I didn't have anyone to play anything with, so I don't know any games either.

[... Another clue to Elsa not feeling good: being a bit more loose-lipped about the whole "thirteen years of isolation" thing...]
