Angeal stirred, a rather annoying light hitting his face as he rolled to the darker side of the bed, not thinking for the moment that it was Genesis’ side. A few moments passed before he sat up and went to apologize before noticing there was no one there. Now, he didn’t mind sharing a bed with Genesis; they were friends and there was nothing wrong with that, but he did mind thinking that he was taking up the bed and Genesis left because of it. After all, the couches were completely uncomfortable to be sleeping on for any length of time.

He grunted, getting out of bed and telling Xander he could stay in that padded chair the pup decided to make his bed as Angeal wandered out of the room and into the living area. It seemed he went unnoticed as he watched Genesis play with Aydan’s fur almost absentmindedly for a few moments before the redhead started to lean to and fro.

Jerking forward out of the door jam a little at the sight, Angeal started to worry more. “Gen—” he called but cut short when Genesis decided to take a nosedive off the couch, Aydan jumping out of his lap barking. “Genesis!” Angeal darted over as quickly as he could, skidding on his knees to catch his friend before he hit the floor.

Genesis sighed reluctantly and took a sip. The hint of leaves was still there, but the strong taste of coffee and toffee nearly masked most of it. It was good, though the leafy taste still threw him off. It was the reason why he generally avoided teas. But... it looked to be like he could possibly acquire this taste. "It's alright." He handed the mug back. It wasn't his after all.

Genesis sighed and placed the mug on the stand. He slipped out of the bed and stretched before grabbing the drink again and making his way to the living room. He sat down on the couch and drank his beverage. Softly, he smiled into his cup.

This was how mornings were suppose to be. Genesis hadn't realized he missed them until now. He liked it like this.
