Who: Roy Mustang and OPEN
Where: Around Goldenrod
When: first two weeks of October
Summary: Roy Mustang runs into Homunculi, jerks, and makes himself at home in pokeworld
Rating: PG
Log:
Goldenrod was a decent sized city, and Roy preferred that to the forests and roads. They obviously had enough technology for cars and trains, but the absolute lack of them was startling and strange. On the other hand, this was a place where small ledges were completely impassable and music followed where-ever he went, so expecting anything to make sense was a questionable proposition at best. He was also slowly acquiring an entourage of Pokemon. The only one he regularly kept in her pokeball was the water creature, so he could often be seen with a Growlithe trailing behind him and a Hawlucha perched on his shoulder or backpack.
It was ridiculously easy to find a job, despite the fact that he had no work history, and no education, and no proof of identity beyond his trainer information. That was creepy in a way that made him incredibly uneasy in the quieter moments. He found a place to stay located near a library and all manner of recreational diversions, including several he had never even heard of. The game corner in particular warranted further investigation.

Envy looks up and glances around, confused at first; it's been a LONG time since Mustang was last here, and he can't quite place the voice right away. But when he sees the man, of course he recognizes him, and his eyes narrow in annoyance immediately.
"You again? When did you get here?"

He didn't immediately notice his Ralts closing in on Envy. "Vanessa, no." But she wasn't listening, so Roy dug in a pocket for her Pokeball.

And the frown on Envy's face and his narrowed eyes say a lot about how that went, but at least he doesn't look like he's about to attack.
"You're not going to start going on about how I should be dead, are you?"
'Or about your dead gullible friend' he bites back from adding. He doesn't want to start a fight in the street. The Ralts coming towards him is a distraction, and he glances down at Vanessa in confusion. What does the little thing want?

"But you're not even the right Envy, and being dead doesn't matter here." He finally did grab the right Pokeball, but by then Vanessa had made it all the way over to Envy's leg, where she proceeded to try to headbutt him.

Envy's always happy to complain about the idea he has in his head of Other Envy, but he's very well interrupted by Vanessa's head colliding with his shin.
"OW--hey, what the hell!"
He glares down at the little Ralts, hopping backwards to favor the leg she headbutted. His Lucario, who has been with him for a very long time and remembers back in the day when he'd react to violence with returned violence, quickly reaches down and scoops Vanessa up off the ground.

"The other one is an imbecile," Roy agreed, frowning. He would have to talk with Vanessa. The pokemon were very good at understanging, even if they couldn't make themselves understood as easily. He had no idea why she did that, but he wasn't going to apologize for her.

The Lucario doesn't try to keep Vanessa from being recalled, even holding the little Ralts out so that the beam of recall energy will be easier to aim at her.
