[Lightning was the type to not let any of her Pokémon hang out in their balls unless injured. So here's a merry little troupe of 'mons walking behind a woman with rose colored hair. One of them sees Aqua and scuttle over.

Hope Aqua isn't afraid of spiders, because this Galvantula wants to say hi!]

[prismbloom]

[ Oh! There's a face Aqua hasn't seen in a while. She's flanked by a giant spider, but Aqua's seen scarier--she kneels down, holding out her hand for the spider. Best to not startle Lightning--so she'll just pay attention to the Galvantula, for now. ]

Hi there. You're friendly, aren't you?

[bylight]

[Light is stopped by her Lucario, who points over to where the Galvantula had gone. She nods and watches as her spider nuzzles the hand of a stranger, waving one of her little claws in greeting.]

Seems May likes you.

[prismbloom]

May--is that her name?

[ Yeah, no fear here. Aqua scritches the Galvantula under her chin. ]

[bylight]

[Nodding, Lightning walks over to pat the spider on the head. May loves all this attention, and lets out a chattering noise, her pincers wiggling.]

Yes. She's a Galvantula. I see you have a Swablu. New here?

[prismbloom]

I am. I've just arrived.

[ It's definitely Lightning, but Aqua has enough experience with this sort of thing to not bring it up. She knows Lightning, after all, and she'd not sure how different this one is. ]

Have you been here very long?

[bylight]

[That one has to be thought over. It wouldn't be too long now...]

Yes. Almost then months.

[Light looks at her band of Pokémon with something that was close to affection without the smile.] They make it easier.

[prismbloom]

That's quite a while.

[ It's pretty much impossible, then, that this is not a completely different Lightning. Aqua stands, straightens up. There's tenderness, in the way Lightning's looking at the creatures. She holds her hand out. ]

My name is Aqua.

[bylight]

[Lightning turns away from them and shakes Aqua's hand.]

Lightning Farron.

[Her Lucario holds her paw out to be shaken.] This is Beatrix, my Lucario.

[prismbloom]

It's wonderful to meet you, Lightning. [ Again. ]

And you, too, Beatrix, [ she says as she pulls her hand from Lightning's and grasps the Lucario's. ] Have you been taking good care of your trainer?

[bylight]

[Beatrix nods, letting out a soft bark. Of course she is! She's nudged aside by a horse that is literally on fire. Hello!]

Arvakr, you can wait your turn.

[prismbloom]

[ OH hello! Aqua turns to the fire pony. ]

They're all so friendly. You've taken such good care of them.

[bylight]

[Arvark nickers at Aqua, sniffing her hair. It's so blue!]

My sister and I raise them as if they were family. Well, we did until she left.

[prismbloom]

[ She can't help but laugh softly, patting Arvakr's neck. ]

I can't imagine how rough that might have been. I'm sorry.

[bylight]

No, it's alright. This place tends to make people disappear without a reason. Though this isn't the first time so many new people have arrived here at one time.

[prismbloom]

Really? Then this is nothing new to you. [ She nods, taking a look around. ] I can't say I'm used to a place like this... but I do know about being in a new place, where people come and go often.

[bylight]

[She gives Aqua a measuring look after she's done talking.]

Most of the people who show up here on a weekend like this tend to have some sort of power. Do you?

[prismbloom]

I do, actually.

[ Hello, Keyblade! ]

[bylight]

[That's a pretty good power to have. She nods approvingly.]
