before I was an orphan boy...
Who: little!Sion, little!Ryner, and their collective Pokemon
Where: their house in Ecruteak
When: May 12, during Time Crisis
Summary: what happens when two little boys wake up in a mysterious house together with a few dozen mysterious (and confused) critters
Rating: let's go with PG because they are tinies but, well, this is still LOLH
Log:
It's strange to fall asleep in your own bed and wake up in one twice the size that you know isn't your own, in an unfamiliar room.
It's perhaps even stranger to wake up in that bed to find another unknown child sleeping next to you in that bed.
And perhaps even stranger still, all the mysterious animals that maybe bear some resemblance to those in story books if you squint. Like the pink puffball. Or the two cats with scythe-like horns.
...But it's also strange, but it somehow feels like it's okay. Even if he can't explain why. So for now, he just blinks.

Perhaps in other worlds, that would be an absurd question, but where he's from, it's a perfectly logical conclusion to come to.

The inky thing picks up her pen and, kind of meekly, writes a note for the boys: It's a microwave.
no subject
"Umm... What does that mean?"
no subject
Eventually, she writes It runs on electricity, and it makes vibrations in the air that heat food quickly.
That was good enough, right? Not completely accurate, but she never really cared all that much about physics...

"Like a special kind of oven...?"
Even if he's never heard of an oven remotely like it.

"Wow..." the boy comments, looking over the oven again. "I don't really get it, but that sounds amazing!"

Although, while the kids might have been distracted by the strange shiny technology, their stomachs certainly aren't followed, given how this one's suddenly decides to let out a small rumble.
"Ah, sorry..." That was rude, right?

The inky thing just smiles warmly and floats a little closer to offer the pizza bagels again. Really, eat, please.

"Thank you very much!" he tells the inky thing, because one should always be polite. And then he picks up a pizza bagel off the plate.
...But he doesn't eat it yet, instead glancing in Sion's direction with a smile. He doesn't explicitly say something like okay it's your turn, but that's kind of the implication here.

"Thank you very much," he says, managing not to mumble as he reaches to take one himself. He's never had food quite like this before, but it doesn't look (or smell) unpleasant, at least.

"..."
It's. Different. But not in a bad way.

There's a small concern that if he shares his opinion first, it'll color Sion's. So he'll ask before he says anything.

The inky thing gives a small sigh of relief. They like it! They're eating!

"It's really good," he tells the inky black thing in between bites. "Thanks so much!"
