Rating: IDEK
Log:
After many battles, Squall and Firion were finally out of the Dark Cave, both exhausted and a little more than sore. Firion was ready to sleep, to be perfectly honest, he had yet to really get a decent amount of rest. But they had to return to Cherrygrove first. However, he made sure to post an announcement when they finally left before putting the phone away so that they may meet Cecil and Aerith on the way back. In the meantime, Firion looked to Squall.

"Will you be alright after this?" Firion asked, looking at him with a stern, but gentle gaze. He wanted to be sure his friend would be fine, even if nightmares may plague him still after this. He didn't tell anyone, but he still had nightmares himself. So he knew Squall would have them soon after this, if not immediately. "And... will you travel with us? Light, Cecil, and I?"

They never traveled together during the Conflict, hardly looked at each other when all ten of them were together, but Firion still felt that Squall was a friend. Sure, Squall reminded him of a certain brother-like figure back home, but everyone reminded him of someone back home and he was sure it was almost the same with the others. After all, didn't Squall mention that Seifer, whomever he was, was like him with his talk of dreams? It didn't matter much to Firion, however. That they hardly traveled together, that he hardly knew much about the stoic teen. Firion didn't think he had to know that much to consider the young man a friend. After all, he could lose Squall any day. Death, going home, anything.

And if Firion didn't know a thing about him, like before, then how could Firion properly miss someone he barely knew?

[OOC: I put up subthreads for people to start posting in, there isn't much of an order established though, so we can establish one when everyone tags in]

For now at least. Squall carefully kept his gaze forward while not moving his right shoulder more than he needed to. His pack was still slung over his left and although it had been a few days since he and the others reached Cherrygrove after Firion and himself left the cave, Squall knew that the first thing he was going to do (when he was alone) was to take a shower and check out his injuries in private, making sure that none of them got infected.

Approaching the Warrior, Squall made a sweeping glance of the immediate surroundings. Unless his starter and dragon were in their balls, he didn't see them anywhere. The brunet frowned before shaking his head, he'll worry about them later. At least after he cleaned up.

"So I see. And there are no other injuries?" he asked, taking a moment to examine the group of them. Only when he was certain of their condition did he shake his head in answer to Firion's question. "You would not be Warriors of Cosmos if you could not look after yourselves."

"Should we return to the inn, then?" he asked. The rest of them had been traveling, so they would probably want to rest and clean up.

Aerith will start feeling a bit uncomfortable, again. She couldn't help feeling a little left out. All of this was reminding her of home. It felt just like Leon was lecturing the group if they came a few hours late from curfew when they were back at Traverse Town. Aerith sometimes would be the one lecturing everyone along with him too.

She gave everyone a pretty weak smile and said, "I guess I'll be going now. We found Squall, so mission accomplish." She turns to her pokemon who were following her and said, "Let's go guys! You all need a bath." Heartless turned away from his trainer and decided to go into Aerith's swag bag while Chansey was pouting at her. Aerith ignored the look her Chansey was giving and said to Squall, "I'll visit you later. I want to check on your Cyndaquil if...that's okay with you."

"Leaving already?" Cecil asked, surprised. "Why don't you come with us? I'm sure we could find something everyone would accept to eat."

Avenger, who had until then been floating around his head, decided to go poke Aerith's bag in hopes of getting Heartless to come out. Cecil followed him in an attempt to stop him, but once he got close enough he muttered under his breath, so only she could hear. "Besides, Squall still needs a lecture, doesn't he?"

Cecil had ended up only grounding him (not that he could truly ground him, really, he had no authority and he knew it), but he still approved of any possible lecturing. He managed to grab Avenger, and put him on his left shoulder, next to Esuna.
