It's just a job. A temporary job. And it could piss her off quite a bit if it tried.

Who: Ramona Flowers and YOU.
Where: Violet City, around and in the PokéMart during her day shifts.
When: Between Monday, October 4th and Friday, October 8th.
Summary: Come troll Ramona while she works at the Mart, or meet up with her around the city for chatting, battles, or other randomtimes! Really the only reason this is a log is because of the varying times and days. Also please put the day/hour in tag titles!
Rating: Depends on who she meets. I'd say a PG rating for now, but I'll change it if anything happens. I very, very heavily doubt it will go anywhere above PG-13. I mean, the worst that can happen is swearing... right?
Log:
Working at a PokéMart wasn't the most difficult thing Ramona could have picked up as a job, but it certainly wasn't always standing around doing nothing. Honestly, sometimes she felt like hurting something with some of the stupid customers she got.

People don't seem to realize that the store needs to be upkept if she's going to get her pay, and some just seem to want to piss her off. But no, she has to keep her cool until she gets paid. And until that Scott person arrives, like she stupidly promised.

But hey, she still spends her off-time strolling around Violet City, training her Pokémon against other wild ones in the surrounding area.

Still, she had now apparently picked up a 'hitchhiker' to travel with her, if that was even the right word to use. Klavier seemed to want to stay in Violet as well, but followed her there after the Zubat attack. She just hoped he wouldn't get himself into trouble. All of this meant by the time she left Violet, she could very well have two people following her, for who knows how long. Sigh.

At least the job paid, and at least it wasn't very boring.

[OOC: You can come shop at the Mart during the day, or meet her around Violet/surrounding routes at night.]

((;-; SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE POST. My code keeps breaking. I don't know why!

Jack works at the same 'Mart))

"Why. Why would anyone do this." Jack Skellington glowered down an aisle in the Poke'Mart as several tacky Pidgy-shaped travel watches went off, one after the other. Someone had slipped into the store, activated, and set every last one to go off a few moments after the other. And then carefully placed them back into their packages. SON OF A ASGNGNDF.

The ex-skeleton dropped to a knee and started opening the tiny boxes to kill the unholy chorus of, "Pidgy! Pidgy! Pidgy!" before he and the other employees went completely mad.

((It's fine! :3 And I figured there'd always be at least two workers at the same time.))

And out came a heavy sigh from Ramona. "Because obviously someone loves toying with us."

She stared down the aisle of Pidgey watches, and the rousing sound was irritating her. So, in an attempt to get it all to stop faster, she went over and began to help Jack, starting from the other end. "And whoever did it has probably done it before."

((Also, hello!))

Normally, Jack approved of trickery that was all in good fun. But he had to work here the better part of his day. And that was not fun. He held a box to his ear to make sure it was chirping before fumbling it open and deactivating the little watch with more force than was necessary.

"Bet you anything they did it days ago too."

((o/ Also I love your Jack. XD Makes me want to re-watch NMBC.))

Oh, she remembered that too. It was her first day there. "More than likely."

Finally, the digital Pokémon cries began to die down as they got down to the last few watches. That was really annoying. Why did the Mart have to get so many dumb and annoying customers? She never had this kind of problem with her deliveries back in her world. Well, a lot less so than she did here, at the least.

"Okay, that should be it." Luckily for them, customers had not been piling up while that was being done. "I really think they should've just had these boxes locked until they were bought."

((;-; Fff thanks. It's so encouraging to hear that! I've only seen the movie Ramona's in, but she looks fun! Also, I ENCOURAGE THIS MOVIE WATCHING IDEA.))

Jack sighed and pushed himself back to his feet. He was starting to understand why so many trainers were solitary, camping creatures. "Thanks for the help."

"Pidgy!"

Jack twisted around and looked ready to foam at the mouth. Where? WHERE WAS IT? A trainer with a real Pidgy on their shoulder passed by the door. Jack deflated and put a hand to his forehead. It was too early in the day for this.

((Sorry for the late reply D:))

"No problem, dude." Gotta stick together if they, the workers, are going to keep each other from going positively insane.

She turned around as well when she heard the chirp, but she had long since dropped the super-serious expression, and walked back to the counter. Once the trainer was out of earshot, she muttered, "Lunch break can't come fast enough."

(It's okay! My internet decided LOL SCREW YOU yesterday afternoon and only just came back on XD)

Jack watched the door and dared anything else in the shop to say, "Pidgy!" before following his coworker. "I hear that! I'm ready for some soda. I have a headache."

D'awww baby's first addiction! The world would come to know eventually that Jack was not someone who should have ready access to caffeine.

Jack was by no means antisocial, but during work hours, the ex-skeleton usually busied himself putting things on shelves, helping customers, or burying his nose in his Poke'Gear. Today was slower though. It opened a window for that whole human interaction thing that was starting to get easier and easier.

"So, where are you from?" JACK USED RANDOM QUESTION.

"You should probably worry more about aspirin," she responded. "Soda will just make it hurt worse."

She began busying herself with organizing the stuff they had to keep behind the counter, when he asked her his question.

"Toronto. It's a city in Canada." She looked up for a second. "Ever heard of it?" She was well accustomed to the fact that not everyone came from Earth, let alone the States or Canada. So she was used to asking if people had heard of the country.

The dead man's brows sprang up. "Ah! Can-ah-dah! Finally, somewhere I've heard of!"

Canada was home to some good old haunts. Ogopogo, Sasquatch, countless ghosts.

"It's a great place!"

"It's okay," she responded. "Not as lively as the States in some ways."

Jack shook his head. "Seemed pretty lively to me! Maybe I'll get to see it again some day. How long have you been, uh, stuck here? I've been here for a couple of months. It's all started to blend together."

"A couple of weeks." She shrugged. "Johto's not so bad, really. It has its perks."

It was still cold as hell though, so right now it felt no different than being back in Toronto.
