Who: Ramona Flowers and YOU.
Where: Violet City, around and in the PokéMart during her day shifts.
When: Between Monday, October 4th and Friday, October 8th.
Summary: Come troll Ramona while she works at the Mart, or meet up with her around the city for chatting, battles, or other randomtimes! Really the only reason this is a log is because of the varying times and days. Also please put the day/hour in tag titles!
Rating: Depends on who she meets. I'd say a PG rating for now, but I'll change it if anything happens. I very, very heavily doubt it will go anywhere above PG-13. I mean, the worst that can happen is swearing... right?

Working at a PokéMart wasn't the most difficult thing Ramona could have picked up as a job, but it certainly wasn't always standing around doing nothing. Honestly, sometimes she felt like hurting something with some of the stupid customers she got.

People don't seem to realize that the store needs to be upkept if she's going to get her pay, and some just seem to want to piss her off. But no, she has to keep her cool until she gets paid. And until that Scott person arrives, like she stupidly promised.

But hey, she still spends her off-time strolling around Violet City, training her Pokémon against other wild ones in the surrounding area.

Still, she had now apparently picked up a 'hitchhiker' to travel with her, if that was even the right word to use. Klavier seemed to want to stay in Violet as well, but followed her there after the Zubat attack. She just hoped he wouldn't get himself into trouble. All of this meant by the time she left Violet, she could very well have two people following her, for who knows how long. Sigh.

At least the job paid, and at least it wasn't very boring.

Menial labor. Right. Keep her company. Right. "I wouldn't call standing behind someone like a stalker 'keeping someone company,' but whatever floats your boat, dude."

Finally, she turned around as she was given her space, and he spoke his reasons for coming, causing her to cock an eyebrow, letting her hands fall from her hips to her sides. "Well, the displays have to look good." Joke or not, there was at least a good reason she was paying attention to it.

"And what is this question?" She's obviously being pretty neutral about the situation now, not really phased about Klavier being so amused about it.

Klavier paused, running his fingers through his hair. "This Herr Scott of yours... I hope this isn't too much to say, but it seemed prudent to ask where he was and how much longer this is going to take. I'm not going anywhere, so there's no pressure or anything, but... I, ah..." For a moment, he appeared to be someplace else, someplace very much in his head, but that disappears almost immediately; the next second his hands are on his hips and he manages to look simultaneously matter-of-fact and slightly contrite, albeit in a somewhat insincere manager.

"Frankly, I'm bored."

"He only arrived a couple of days ago." And almost said 'he's not mine.' She also almost asked out loud why she even bothered waiting for Scott, since this was a guy she barely knew and yet she figured she might as well do it so he'd be quiet about it. She didn't know. She just knew that working here would pay off in the long run, which was another reason she couldn't argue with him - she was already working at the time. "So probably another week or so." ... Which would be longer than her original work week.

His expression of being bored pretty much answered her question of exactly why he had been acting like he was for at least the past few days. This, however, formed another question, and this one she actually felt she needed to ask.

"Why are you bored? There's a lot to do in the city."

"The city...?" Klavier stared at her for a second, then shook his head as though trying to dislodge something, possibly something unpleasant.

"I see." A week. Achtung. "Well, so ist das. The problem is that there is nothing to do here. And I am used to being busy. Concerts, rehearsals, court cases, evidence processing, paperwork..." He ticked them off on his fingers, one after another, his brow furrowing slightly, then looped his thumbs through the chain belt around his waist, his expression relaxing into a self-deprecating smile. "Apparently eight hours of community service is not enough to keep me going." Not that he expected her to do anything about it, but it was better to level with her now than... ach, who knew. Damage the flimsy relationship they'd developed thus far, he supposed. Whether she liked him or not, Ramona was one of the few decent people he'd met thus far. He'd rather she continue tolerating him for a bit.

Was he really that busy? Ramona listened to his words, wondering exactly how he was able to manage all of that - she rather enjoyed her own laid-back life ~~after running away from New York to Toronto back at home~~ and was fine with living life as it came.

"You sure do love to work, don't you?" She thought for a moment, placing a hand to her hip as she looked over at the counter where she usually works behind, as if thinking. "Well, if you'd like something to do after hours, you could always come with me and explore Violet. I heard they have a large tower somewhere that tourists visit."

"Of course," Klavier snapped his fingers rhythmically for a few seconds. "That's the point, ja?" Ramona might have wondered, and she certainly wasn't the first--but Klavier, unlike most people with busy lives, saw no need for downtime, let alone free time where he idled around uselessly. He didn't take off days off--not unless he was sick or needed to catch up somewhere, and then it was just that--a day or so, taken off before he got back into the thick of things.

That was just his style.

He pondered her offer, however--the idea of tourist attractions was sort of off-putting, but at the same time...

"But why not? It might be interesting. At the very least, I can perhaps make up for startling you... although I must admit you took it very well." There was a mischeivous glint in his eye.

Unlike Klavier, she enjoyed her downtime.

"Only because I figured it was you," she teased with a smirk. "If I hadn't known it, you might have needed to step back before getting an elbow to the stomach. I don't take chances like that." Or a punch to wherever she aimed if she had to turn around.

"...ach. In that case, I appreciate your restraint." This was said with a tone of faint dryness, but the smile remained on his face, making Klavier's actual intentions difficult to read. In fact, he was rather glad that hadn't happened--and would certainly keep these reflexes of hers in mind for the next time.
