Maybe things aren't as bad as they look...
Who:
gochuugoku,
lovemebrothers,
redeyesforpride, and
wantnotneed
Where: Violet City
When: During the glitch
Summary: The glitch is still going on and it looks like Lucifer, Mammon, and China weren't the only ones taking advantage of the shorter roads. Just what kind of insanity will ensue? An encounter with the MissingNo? Issues with siblings? Who knows.
Rating:Knowing Korea, probably PG-13.
Log: The music was still playing that eerie tune, everything was still pixellated, and his bag was heavier because of the candy, but one good thing had come out of it all. The roads had become shorter, allowing China, Mammon, and Lucifer to get to Violet City faster. So far, the group had no encounters with the so-called "MissingNo," but who knew how long it would be until they finally did run into one.
"We're finally here, aru." China was a bit disappointed, though. He had hoped to see how Violet City was, but it was just a bunch of... pixels, right now. He sighs and says to the two sisters, "Should we keep going, or should we take a short break?"

It hadn’t taken very much asking around to find out where his brother was headed. After hearing he was also here from Hong Kong, Korea had been a man on a mission. And anyone who’d ever met him when he was in such a mood could attest to his tenacity and exuberance, in that regard.
A different town? That was a bummer, but not necessarily a deterrent. He hadn’t been around long enough to know that the roads were shorter, but it definitely helped as Korea set off. It took him a matter of hours to reach Violet City.
“Hyung-nim…!” It was a bit inconvenient that China didn’t automatically appear at the entrance to the town, but it was no matter; Korea would keep looking.

Oh hey, that voice sounded familiar. It's the guy who she told to go kick MissingNos like a soccer ball.
"Well, well... Another sibling of yours, China?" Mammon asked, tilting her head to China a bit. She could definitely understand about having lots of siblings. After all, she had six sisters.

Was that really who he thought is was? When did he arrive in this world? Still there was no doubt that man was one of his younger brothers.
"Yong Soo?!"

"What do you want?"
no subject
"You are here!"

"Glad to... see you're... okay, Yong Soo." Yao was having a hard time breathing because of the tight grasp his brother had on him.
He somehow managed to get a little space between him and Korea. "By the way, Korea, these two are Lucifer and Mammon. They've been traveling with me, aru." He motioned one of his hands at the two Stakes.

"Looks like someone is reaaaaally happy to see you, Wang Yao!"
Of course, she had to say something in that moment.

After the initial relief and euphoria at having found his brother wore off, Korea stepped back a few paces and inspected things. One hand on his chin, he regarded China and then the two woman.
Finally, he asked, “Hyung-nim, have you become a pimp?”

"N-No! It's not what either of you think!" He looked to Mammon to ask for help, but she was just standing there, smiling as she watched the scene.

He then turned to Korea and gestured to Lucifer and Mammon. "I met Mammon back in the first town and then Lucifer when we reached Cherrygrove City, aru! They're just friends that I made in this world and they're sisters just as you and I are brothers!"

"Are you sure about that? I think you're more of the student type." She stated, shrugging lightly.

"I swear, the child had a mind of his own, aru! He never really listened to what I told him when he was small. Come to think of it, none of my siblings did..."
China glanced at Korea. "Not really, aru," he says bluntly. "Although, you have shown me very... strange things in the past." Why did Korea always have to be so difficult?
He sent an appreciating look at Mammon, silently thanking her for backing him up. "Yes. Everyone knows that I'm the oldest of the Asia family. I raised Korea along with Hong Kong, Japan, and all our other siblings."
no subject
"I suggest you to start showing your brothers that you are the elder one. If they are all like him, Wang Yao."
no subject
Seeing another opportunity, Korea rolled his eyes at Lucifer. "No one ever listens to him! That would ruin all the fun!"

"But anyways, even though they all knew I was the oldest and I did so many things for them, most of my siblings didn't follow my lead. Don't get me wrong, aru. I'm grateful for my family, but let's just say that nowadays we have issues with one another, both personal and political." Saying those words, Yao couldn't help but think back to when all his siblings were small and how close they all used to be. He never completely understood why they grew apart as they became older. Sure they had their own countries to care for, but was that really the only reason?
He put a had on Korea's shoulder. "Oh, no, I didn't mean it like that, aru. Sure you were very different from the others, but you were also the most cheerful, aru." He smiled at his brother. "You always had a smile on your face and so much energy. It was hard for me to keep up with you, aru."
no subject
"So, what are you going to do now?" Her eyes moved to see China once more for the question.

China looked at his brother. "What do you think of all this, Korea? Do you want to stay here? Maybe you can get a job here too, aru?"
[2:2]
"What about you two, aru?" He asked them, "Will you also be staying here for a bit?"
Though he had to admit that the two Stakes could be very frightening at times, he had enjoyed their company and their friendship. It would be sad to part ways, but the two had their own goals just as he had his. Besides, it's not like he'd cut off their ties completely. China would definitely keep in touch.

“That actually sounds pretty good!” he decided after a moment. “I ran all the way here and I’m tired, anyway. I can figure everything out here as well as anything else, right?”
Then he looked rather deviously at China and added, “And if you’re sticking around, then I will, too.”
no subject
"Alright, then. I think we all deserve a break anyway." By all, he also means Mammon and Lucifer. "I'll talk to France about the job he mentioned to me before. I'll ask if there's a spot for you too, aru."
