The temperature had been slowly plummeting in Johto as the days went by, but until now, there had been no sign of winter weather. Sure, it was cold enough to warrant the purchase of a thick jacket and warm gloves, but the sun had been shining brightly even amidst the chill.

So it came as some surprise when Kaito stepped out of the Violet City inn that afternoon and saw the overcast, gray sky dotted with bits of fluttering white. Already the snow had begun to accumulate on the ground, a light layer of frozen water stretching across the cobbled streets. He stood in the entrance of the inn for a few moments, head tilted back and gloved hands stuffed into the pockets of his jacket, gaze affixed in wonder at the snow flakes descending to the ground. Behind him, Biz the Aipom scurried up his arm and perched himself on his trainer's shoulder, poking his tongue out to catch the flakes of snow in his mouth once he was there

Kaito grinned.

"Happy December, Biz~" he said cheerfully, before he stepped out of the entrance and into the winter weather.

[Mammon snickers to herself as she continues to slide on the ice, watching Kaito all the while.]

[CLIMBING onto the ice and... wobbling, but not falling]

Hey, Kaito! Don't fall! [She says as she's sliding past him.]

That, I do. [She giggles and sneers at Kaito.] It wouldn't be fun otherwise~

[scowling and still trying not to fall. A bit proud he hasn't yet!]

[Mammon still carefully watches Kaito. It seems that he has gotten better at not falling. However, Mammon has other plans...

She snaps her fingers, which allows her Lapras to create another path, but it was a full loop at the end of Kaito's path.]

[ohocrap a loop-- yep there he goes, slipping off of the ice path and into the snow again]

[She laughs and cackles more until she falls back onto the snow, not from falling but from too much laughter. After she regains enough composure to stand up, she walks over to Kaito and sits on his stomach.]

Maybe you should just stay down.

[he's actually about to push himself up when Mammon plops down on his stomach. OOF. Also since she's wearing.... a really short skirt thing, he flushes a bit]

Maybe you should find a new chair.

Nah~ This is actually pretty comfortable! [She doesn't budge as she still sits on of Kaito's stomach.

[... pushes her a bit, albeit lightly]

It is! And since when do I care about what you think is comfortable? [She doesn't budge. At all.] Besides, I think it's better than having Forneus on top of you, isn't it? She weighs more than 400 pounds.

Why would your Lapras sit on my stomach? [pushing again sob]
