Log:

It was a beautiful, chilly afternoon in Goldenrod City. The snow was lightly falling from the sky to the people and pokemon, who were out doing their usual business. Most of them are ignoring the snow, while others were admiring it's beauty. Aerith was standing outside of the restaurant where she worked, watching the scenery with a soft smile on her lips. The light snowfall really reminded her of the winters in Traverse Town and Radient Garden. Johto's winter on the other hand was quite an experience, especially when one wasn't used to so much snow. It was the first time she has soon so much in one place. Then again, the blizzard Leon, Yuffie and Aerith were stuck in a few weeks ago was an experience she didn't want to relive anytime soon.

"I hope this snowfall isn't a sign of another blizzard," muttered Aerith to herself with worry evident in her voice. She began to shiver at the thought of being stuck in another freezing blizzard. There was no way she was going to go through the same experience twice. Never again. Ever!

Wrapping her arms around herself in hopes of keeping warm; Aerith passes by a store after store, hoping to find good place to eat. Her stomach began to protest loudly due to the lack of food and that got her attention. "I know, I know, already! You're hungry!" scolded Aerith. Placing her hands on her hips, clearly annoyed with herself, she adds, "Don't worry, I'm not going back to work without eating. Just be a little more patient, okay?"

Once she was done with her one on one conversation, she continues to walk down the road with her attention returning to passing stores. There had to be someplace nice to eat.

The snow was still getting to Roxas. The cloudy days were making him exhausted, and there was just so much of it. More often than not he had been asked to go shovel snow in front of the department store, and sometimes even of the roof even though it was largely disused.

He plodded his way down the street, still glad that they were clear for the most part. He had to find a place to eat quick before he got back to work. Maybe some food would give him a little more energy.

He stopped when he heard his name, and turned.

"Hi Aerith," He said as she came over. "Yeah, are you feeling better?" He asked, answering her question with another. What he was up to wasn't that important.

"Good. It's good that you're better," Roxas replied, and he did mean it. Aerith was nice, and bad things shouldn't happen to nice people, at least in his mind.

"I'm doing alright," was the answer, said kind of quietly. He was doing better, now that he had a goal, or several, but he was still kind of lost.

"Uh...sure. I was just looking for something to eat," Roxas replied. He hadn't really spent a whole lot of time with Aerith, so this would start to make up for it. Besides he was hungry and needed to eat something before he went back to work.

It might help if he talked to Aerith as well, and deal with these new feelings he had discovered.

Roxas nodded, and started after her. He picked up the pace a little so he could walk beside her. Granted he still wasn't saying much, but it was nice to be walking with someone. He felt weird, being without his pokemon.

"Yeah, it's fine," Roxas replied. He didn't mind the cute aspect of it. They made good pastries here, and other sweet things. Something that Roxas appreciated. Not to mention it was close to the Department Store.

"After you," He said quietly, indicating that she should enter first.

After sitting down, Roxas picked up the menu, trying to decide what to get. He glanced over the menu, not really talking while he thought.

"Just soup is fine," he said to the waitress, "And some milk."

It seemed almost childish, but Roxas didn't seem to mind.

"Sort of. There's cafes, but not ones like these," Roxas replied. He hadn't really eaten at any of them, since he and his friends rarely had enough money. It was enough to just have ice cream.

"What about where you're from?"

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2011-01-23 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
"I see," Roxas replied. "Why didn't anyone work at the cafe in Traverse Town?"

He knew about Traverse Town from Sora's memories, but he didn't really remember Sora spending that much time there. He was curious.

"I see. I had no idea," Roxas replied. He really only knew what Sora knew when it came to stuff like that. "I guess that's why I never went there."

The last sentence was audible, but was said more to himself.
