[Even after working in the Department Store for so long, Cocona always found it to be a new experience to go shopping with a friend. She was all bundled up in a coat with Kuro's head poking out. She was standing around on the first floor near the escalators, waiting for Kisa to come.]

Kuro, you can't go shocking stuff and cause a blackout, okay?

Pi. [Kuro pouted as if to say "WHAT DO YOU TAKE ME FOR, STUPID TRAINER HMPH" and her ears drooped.]

[ Kisa only has one Pokémon with her this time, and for once, it's not Ari-- because the Growlithe is napping back at the room; she trusts Cocona with her trainer. So now, it's just Phaenna the Shinx tucked in Kisa's jacket. ]

Cocona-chan...! [ and here she comes now! ]

Kisa! [Cocona waves and Kuro does too-- with her ears. It's a strange sight, but Cocona doesn't seem to be too affected by Kuro's antics.]

Wow, you're here early too! That's great!

[ she can't hold back a giggle at Pika earwaves and comes to a stop in front of her friend. ]

I was a little worried that I'd be late, so we left early...

You're not late at all though. [She giggles and then looks at the Shinx.]

Whoa, what kind of Pokemon is that?

She's a Shinx... she can make her fur light up. [ except she's kind of burrowing down into Kisa's jacket because strangeeeers. ]

Kinda like Kuro when she's using Flash? But I guess she needed to have it taught to her. That's pretty cool.

[Aww. But Cocona points to the escalators.]

Should we go now?

Kuro can light up, too...? [ and she nods, taking a step in that direction. ]

Yeah! [She starts walking alongside Kisa.] I had to teach it to her though. It's that one TM, Flash.

[And all of a sudden, Kuro's ears have a dim glow, but it reverts back to them just being regular ears.]

[ bliiiiink. ] She must be a good flashlight...

Remember they had that one blackout in the Goldenrod Hotel? Kuro was very helpful then. [gooooing uuuuup.]

So you didn't get hurt!

Exactly! [She steps off the escalator.]

Wanna look around over here? They have potions and stuff. I think the dolls and clothes were on the fourth floor.

I wonder if they have anything for freezing...

They have Ice Heals and Full Heals! Full Heals are more expensive though...

Full Heals... then that's for everything?

Yeah! Full Heals can cure anything! Well... except when a Pokemon faints. You need Revives for that stuff, but those are even more expensive.

F... fainting...

[ this is why Kisa hates battling. ]

[She blinks twice and focuses her vision on Kisa.]

Kisa? You okay?

Y-yeah... I just feel bad for them, getting hurt that much...

Well... I can't say I felt the same because in my world, this kind of stuff was... common, I guess. We had monsters and stuff, so we had to fight them!

But for our Pokemon fainting, you have to raise them to be strong so that they don't faint at all! I think Kuro only did once and it was because of those weird box things.

Box things?

[ she's just a bleeding heart, even if she had no problem biting people as a tiger. ]

Yeah! Those box things- Uh... Actually, it might be better to not remember them. Never mind, then!

[ SHE IS CONCERNED. ]

I didn't think they were too scary, but my friends did...

The ice heals are over there! [She points to the shelf with condition healing items.]

Ah-- [ Kisa brightens and scurries on over there to pick out a few. After being stuck on the Ice Path, these are a godsend. ]
