Startled -- wow, he really WAS early, fancy that -- Phoenix quickly turns around at the tap on the shoulder, and upon seeing who it is, he grins.

"Oh, uh--I just got here, actually." He reached up to push away a small flick of wet hair that had fallen into his face; with all the rain, it was making his usually perky spikes father limp...he probably looked like he had a black mop on his head, but whatever, it's not like he could do anything about it.
