Hot baths seemed to be the routine after a long hike. Thanks to the blizzard, Rouge's hair had icicles hanging from her hair like chandeliers. Rouge already had shaken some of the ice off but some still remained. She had challenged colds like this before but this was ridiculous. Oh well, the main point was she made it. Now she just needs to get Shadow to trust her again, men.

After she gave the nurse some of her Pokémon, Rouge headed out the door with Iris. Rouge saluted naturally to Shadow before she left. "Lead the way," Rouge spoke to Iris ready to follow behind her.

Iris nods. "Once you get warmed up a bit I'll show you around. It really is a lovely city."

"I'll take your word for it," Rouge replied. "I look forward to it." She continue to follow. Rouge let out a sigh, "right now I'm looking forward to a hot bat."

Iris smiles. "I'm sure you are. It's too bad the weather's been so unkind to travelers lately. You might have made a lot better time." As they pass the Department Store, Iris decides it wouldn't hurt to mention it. "That's the Department Store. You can buy all sorts of wonderful things there!"

Rouge eyed the Department Store. Just as she thought, her treasure senses tingled. What better place than a store full of jewels to take home? Of course she looked forward to some clothes, something warmer perhaps. "Wonderful things you say? I'll have to take a peek maybe tomorrow." Rouge then shifted her eyes towards Iris. "Weather like this wasn't a problem for me before," Rouge let out a sigh. She made a mental note to herself to deal with the person responsible for this.

"How long have you been here?"

"I'd be happy to show you around. It's easy to get lost in there!" A pause and then-"What do you mean?" It was possible that Rouge had been accustomed to cold in her own world, but then, wouldn't she be the same way here?

"I've been here since early November." She smiles. "I hope I stay until spring. I'm sure Johto will be lovely at that time of year."

"If you like," Rouge simply responds. Although really it shouldn't be hard for Rouge. Then a smile when Iris paused with a question. "I'm really a bat," Rouge answered with a shrug.

Yes, please stay, Rouge thought to herself while listening to Iris. "Let's hope it stays spring."

"A...bat?" Iris gives her a puzzled look. "You didn't look anything like a Zubat did you?"

"Well, it can't be spring forever. Johto is just as beautiful in the snow. Besides, I think all the fire-types would overheat!"

"Oh no, nothing like that. I suppose it doesn't matter anymore," Rouge dismisses it.

"But I'm sure the grass-type wouldn't mind." When they both finally walked towards the hotel, Rouge walked in. "Say, are you staying here too Iris?"

"Well that's a relief!" Iris giggles. "I'm sure you were lovely. ...N-Not that you aren't now!"

"That's true! Bikini doesn't like the snow much." Iris follows her inside and nods at Rouge's question. "That's right! I'm in Room 109."

"You don't say," Rouge smiles. "How about we room with you instead?"

"That would be lovely! I wouldn't want you to have to pay for a hotel room when you don't half too!"

"Alright!" And with a smile, Iris leads Rouge up the flights of stairs to her room, which she opens with a click. "I do hope you'll like it." The room is incredibly neat and organized, with the floors nearly spotless. Despite this, Iris seems to be rather nervous that Rouge won't like the offered room.

Rouge followed as she looked around her surrounding. When Iris opened the door, Rouge followed in behind her and took a look. She imagined Iris is a neat and organized person, and the room proved that. With a satisfied smile, she set her backpack on a vacant bed. "It's fine, thank you."

"Oh I'm so glad you like it." Iris follows her to the bed and takes a seat on the corner of it. "I hope you will be happy staying here."
