Summary: Dramatic reunion!

Log:
Serah was bored. Bored, bored, bored. Light had said she'd be back in just a few days... but it felt like an eternity. All she could do was wallow around at the inn restlessly, and wander aimlessly around town. And violet city wasn't exactly a metropolis, either. Sighing, she decided to go out for a walk, and picked up her bag as she opened the door, walking outside. She shivered a bit as she felt the brisk, cold winter air tickle her skin.

Chasse on her shoulder, she made her way to the entrance of Violet City, and just sat. "Light... I miss you." She muttered, under her breath. Chasse's ears perked up as he looked to his master quizzically. Serah gave a wry smile back. "I'm fine, Chasse. Just missing Light a little. I can't wait for you to meet her... I'm sure you'll love her. Well, maybe." Giggling a bit, she looked back to the route she hadn't ventured through in about a week to see.. huh? What was that? It looked like.. very distinctive, slightly radiant pink hair. Could it be..?

Serah jumped up, and Chasse rolled off her shoulder to the ground. "L-Light?!"

It had been a long couple weeks. Between Snow's hatching reminding her of things Lightning would have rather forgotten and somehow missing Serah on the road to Cherrygrove, Lightning had not been having the best of times. Of course, reuniting with Hope had been worth it and now they were in Violet again. Serah was in that town, and there was...a lot to talk about when they saw eachother. Lightning had been planning this for some time.

But the moment Lightning caught sight of Serah, framed by the light from Violet, all those plans faded and left her with only relief. Her baby sister was here. She was alright. Lightning smiled.

"Serah."

Lightning turned her gaze down to Hope, still smiling.

"Come on. I'll introduce you two properly."

He'd seen her before, from a distance when they were still in the Pulse Vestige, before she had turned to crystal. He'd talked to her too, face-to-face, about Snow and their wedding and everything else, after all was said and done and Cocoon was nothing more than a crystal monument to their past. It felt strange, having to meet her again like this, even though he knew that she had no idea who exactly he was.

Hope tucked his little Eevee egg into one of his bags to keep his arms free as he tagged behind Lightning.

"Hi. I'm Hope. It's nice to meet you." Again? For the first time? In person? Sometimes the timelines could wreak havoc on his brain.

Lightning normally shied away from hugs, with few notable exceptions. Serah was one of them, and as she wrapped her arms around Lightning, the elder Farron sister held on right back. She had missed Serah something terrible, and to have her safely back in her arms....it wasn't something she was going to waste.

And when Serah pulled back, Lightning let her. There would be time for more hugs later, once introductions were finished and they were rested. It had been a long walk, after all. But still, Lightning smiled a little at Chasse's antics. For all his trouble, the bear seemed fond of Serah.

"Seems a bit shy around new people."

Hope hung back as he watched the sisters, not saying a thing. There was no way that anyone would get him to intrude on his moment. It felt good, seeing them together again, after such a long time. A little awkward, obviously, not knowing what to do in the meantime and wondering if he should give them some space, because this was obviously a sister thing, but good nonetheless.

Still, awkward, standing there with his two bags filled with things and not knowing what to do, swinging his arms back and forth a little.

"A bit shy around people" could also apply to him, Hope mused as he smiled at the bear a little. It's been a while since he's seen a Pokémon from the Teddiursa family, especially his own. He tried not to be a little jealous-- that would just be plain dumb.

Lightning raised a brow at the way Serah stuck out her tongue, but said nothing on the topic as she took one step back to watch the teens. Hope had to be feeling left out or like he was intruding, and Lightning wouldn't have that in her family. They were both her siblings, after all.

So she stood back, watching with a faintly proud smile on her face as Serah extended Chasse towards Hope. She had a feeling that Hope was missing Snow, and this might help with that. A little, anyway.

"I... uh-- what?" Momentarily taken aback, he didn't notice that the attention had shifted from the sisters to him. In the form of the Teddiursa.

The brain reengaged a second later, and he was taking up the little thing with practiced arms. He'd been doing this a lot, with every Pokémon he had. They were all so small back then that he had gotten around to carrying each one around at least once.

"Thanks."

The proud smile didn't fade from Lightning's face as she watched Serah and Hope interact over the little Teddiursa in Hopes arms, nor did it fade as Chasse suddenly acted like a dog. That wasn't something you saw everyday.

At times, Lightning did wonder if species that Pokémon appeared to be weren't anything like their Pulsian counterparts, and at other times she wondered if this world had just turned her soft enough to not even care about much else than the happiness of the two teens in front of her.
