Summary: Souji needs drawing lessons and Daisuke can help him draw a bit better!

Daisuke had bought a new sketchbook of his own when he was in Violet City and was now holding it in his hands along with a very generic looking pencil case which probably had drawing utensils in it. His Smeargle was tagging along with Daisuke because IT WAS ART FOR HIM TO CRITICIZE. As long as Smeargle toned down on the critic side of him, Daisuke would not mind having him there.

He remained sitting on a bench, waiting for Souji to arrive. Of course, he had come a bit earlier than the appointed time, but... yeah.

[It's been a bit of a while since Souji has ever owned a sketchbook. Actually, he thinks it's been almost ten years since he has had one. So, that has been all the way back when he's about seven...now that he thinks about it, he thinks he still has that same sketchbook ten years ago sitting somewhere on his shelf, only the first ten pages or so actually drawn on.

Heeeeeeee's not the drawing type. He's the type to sit around putting together little Gundam figures if he has the time.

So, with a brand new sketchbook in hand and an equally generic pencil case, he makes his way towards the location where Daisuke will be teaching him how to draw...well, draw better.

When he notices Daisuke on the bench and already there, he gives a small wave, approaching the bench.]

Hope I didn't keep you waiting for long.

[Daisuke looks up to see Souji coming along and makes room for him to sit on the bench.]

No, not at all.

[However, his Smeargle stared at Souji. YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE PROMPT. D8< So it just frowns at Souji instead.]

[He just takes a seat next to Daisuke on the bench and OH HAI TAR SMEARGLE WHAT'S THIS FROWN]

This your Pokemon?

Y-Yeah... He insisted that he should come along. If it's inconvenient, I could put him away?

No, it's alright. Just haven't seen one of these since when I first came here. That one was painting all Route 29. [That was like months and months back. Route 29 was so beautiful with all that paint everywhere]

... ... ...

He painted all over a whole route? Wow, that's kind of... amazing.

Yeah. Couldn't walk into Cherrygrove without leaving painted shoe prints everywhere for a bit.

Your Pokemon is the only other one I've seen other than that one. [DOES HE PAINT ALL OF THE ROUTES?]

Wow... It really loves art, doesn't it? [He laughs weakly.] Mine doesn't do that... but he's rather critical of whatever art piece he sees.

[A small chuckle.] Probably wouldn't take too kindly to my drawings then. [Give him a few seconds for him to flip through his sketchbook and pull out that drawing he has drawn a while back to show the Pokemon. HERE SMEARGLE TAKE A LOOK AT IT]

[Daisuke's Smeargle looks at Souji's drawing-- AND IMMEDIATELY DISAPPROVES. It cross his arms, frowns at Souji, huffs, and walks away to go draw on the ground with its tail.]

... ... ... [welp. daisuke just sits there.]

[....Souji just stares for a few seconds before bursting into a small laugh.]

Guess that means I need a lot of work to do.

Y-You shouldn't listen to him! He just gets that way a lot... especially with me.

Anyway... Was there anything you wanted to focus on?

[Souji just laughs again. OH DAISUKE Now I want to reread DN Angel]

It's fine and I guess the basics is good. Anything to start me off.

For that, you should draw a circle first, especially if you're drawing a person. You should try lightly sketching the pose with rectangles after the circle though.
