[Soul and Eridan worked as quick as they could in the kitchen, preparing a meal for Rarity and her friends. After having been offered two new and ~cool~ outfits for free and talking to Rarity more, Soul'd realized he couldn't really just walk away from such a deal without paying her back somehow. So here they were; fashioning together the biggest vegetarian cookout Violet's probably ever seen (and hoping there's an equally huge dining area to go with it). There's everything you can imagine in the food choices -- the most notable being the amount of salads and oriental dishes. Stir fries, spring rolls, curry dishes; you name it, it's probably there. And since they're both working and focused, a miraculous amount of food managed to not burn, too! Of course, in a lot of the dishes there are ingredients only the ponies would enjoy; meaning yes, he nearly cleared Violet's shops of flowers.
He may even have looked up how to candy rose petals. :3c not that they came out perfect, but Soul's seen quite a few of this kind of food in his time. His middle name is Eater after all.
Eventually though, it's all said and done, set up for all of the girls to chow down on.
You should enjoy yourselves girls! You can almost say moments like this with Soul are...

[ Rarity is quick to swallow the bite of food she'd been chewing, briefly covering her mouth. ]

It's delicious! I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical — I wasn't sure a human would be able to make palatable food for ponies — but this is fabulous!

Thing is; you may have been a pony, but you're still a human now. As long as you can eat it, all human food'll taste good.

[At least, that's his logic behind it!]

Even the food we can't eat tastes good, I hear. [ She looks mournful for a moment. ] Applejack tried some chocolate at the festival last month, and she was sick. She did say it was delicious, however.

... Oh man; you guys can't have chocolate?

[This face? It totally says "you poor souls".]

Well -- at least the stuff you can have tastes good, right?

Not without paying the price, it would seem. [ Rarity looks just as unhappy.

But she's quick to brighten at his next question. ] It does! And this dinner, in particular, is the best I've had in quite some time, even back home!

[Did someone say party!? Well, they may not have said the words "party" but that's certainly what Pinkie Pie heard. A bunch of them getting together for food, sounded like a party to her! And well, it wasn't a true party without decorations!

Pinkie had spent a good part of the afternoon scouring Violet for party supplies and when she does arrive will get to decorating. Balloons, and streamers everywhere! Also confetti. Lots and lots and lots of confetti!

Afterwards she'll be dishing up a plate of absolutely everything!]

[Soul looks at all the decorations Pinkie brought, and curiously checks out... a handful of confetti. That is a lot of confetti.]
