[What was with that sudden chill on Monday... Cocona was wearing a shirt and a pair of jeans with a black hoodie jacket over her. It was the Pikachu jacket that she was given for Christmas, so the ears drooped whenever she put on the hood... which was right now.]

Boo. I thought it would have been colder today, but it's still kinda cold... [She huddles with Kuro (she's not inside the jacket this time), waiting for Hayate to come as she waits at the entrance of the lighthouse.]

Haaaa... I don't even want to think about what would have happened if I went in there... It would have just been a disaster-- *shooting a half glance to some of the trainers just to figure out where they're looking-- oh god did that one see me I HOPE NOT*

[Cocona's not even glancing at them. She's just closing her eyes half the time as she's trying to go past them... WE CAN DO IT. C'MON HAYATE--

oh........... they saw them.]

It'll be a fast battle, so it's okay! Right, Hayate? [She gets ready for a Pokemon battle, reaching for a Pokeball--

Oh wait, Kuro finally snaps awake from her arms.]

*digging around in his bag for his, pulling out two different ones since not sure who to toss out just yet :|a*

[A Graveler and a Magnemite are sent out! Well... Kuro looks eager to battle, so why not? Cocona sends her out.]

... that's a mismatched pair if I ever saw one... I say knowing full well I have both of them myself...

*WELP. With Kuro on the field there's no need to go all out, so Hayate is tossing forward one of the balls and out pops a Gardevoir! Who does a tiny twirl upon emerging.*

Alright, Kuro! Start off with Iron Tail!

[Kuro looks pretty eager to battle! So she leaps into the air and curls up into a ball as she's heading right for the Graveler. Her tail shines in a silver light and BAM! It landed a direct hit on its head! It looks as though it took a lot of damage, but it's not really knocked out yet.]

I-Iron Tail?! How does that even... Er... M-Miya, follow that up with Magical Leaf!

*Miya does another twirl upon hearing this, as a series of glowing green blade like leaves begin to appear about her! Which with a grand pointing gesture, she sends them all slicing toward the Graveler in an attempt to finish it off!*

[And the Graveler is knocked out! That was pretty quick. Cocona's actually relieved that the Graveler is gone first because of its ground advantage against Kuro.

The trainer orders Magnemite to use Supersonic on Kuro and it's... actually effective. Uh-oh. Cocona looks a bit conflicted. Hmm...]

Kuro, use Light Screen!

[It's not like Kuro wanted to go against her order, so she did use Light Screen! ... Just not around them. A box of light appeared around nothing and Kuro tripped on the ground and fell on her face.]

*... Kuro you are somehow adorable even while being confused-- wait FOCUS HAYATE Pikachu antics are always present gotta battle first*

--Miya, live up to your type and use Psychic!

*Cue the BRIGHT GLOWING BLUE EYES as Miya just... Raises her hand and slams the Magnemite into the ceiling with her mind.*

Wow... I know Soope uses Psychic too, but when I see another Pokemon do it, it looks cool. [She seems to be in awe for a moment since she knows Kuro can't do much at the moment. Kuro's tail is actually twitching along with her leg every now and then.

But the Magnemite survives! Just barely though. The trainer orders a supersonic on Miya also, sending waves at her.]

--ah! Going for confusion again?! Miya, get in a Shadow Sneak before it gets to you!

*Which is to say that as those waves of confusion come toward her, she is making her shadow grow in a rather creepy way and extend behind the Magnemite for a quick and creepy shadowy smack.

... though she is looking dazed and confused right afterward.*

[Cocona watches all this and dang, Hayate. That was kinda creepy.

But nevertheless, Magnemite faints! Cocona is relived. Her side wins! ... Kuro is still twitching though.]

Ahhh... I-It's good to have an attack that hits that fast, even if it's not that strong...

Um... Miya, are you okay...? *He says as the Gardevoir begins to twirl and twirl and twirl*
