This may scare younger viewers
Who: The Mankin Cast. Srsly, the whole damn cast.
Where: Cherrygrove (Pokemon Centre)
When: 18th June
Summary: Meeting the Brainbreakers
Rating: PG - 13
Log:
Anna strode full of purpose into the town, pointedly ignoring any locals as she trotted at a brisk pace towards the Pokemon Center. Where she would find her son. That was still odd to think about. Her son. Asakura Hana. Waiting with Tao Men, son of Ren and Jeanne. She allowed herself a small smirk at that. Ren and Jeanne. Oh, she was going to have fun with that.
But that was for later, right now, she had more pressing matters. Like her sick child. Whose illness she logically blamed on Ren for setting the two kids off for Cherrygrove in the first place. Stepping out of the heat and through the automatic doors of the Centre, Anna cast her gaze about for her son and his distinct looking travelling partner.

The boy was still curled up in the towel the Pokemon Center had given him, shivering none the less at the cool while Ryu nuzzled his trainer's leg worriedly. Hana glanced down, patting the Pokemon, before looking back up and spotting the woman.
"Mom-" ACHOO! "-my!"
Had he been in better condition, he likely would've rushed right over.

Her eyes flickered to the Tao heir for a brief moment. It seemed the exhaustion of coughing had caused Men to fall asleep, Tai curled up atop his head. Anna returned her gaze to her son, nodding her head at him, not entirely sure how she was supposed to greet her future child.

"I hate snow," he said grumpily, sneezing. "When I see that - ACHOO! - idiot, I'm going to - cough - kill him!"
Ryu made a soft Lar, going over to hug Anna's ankle, apparently thinking that it was group hug time. His trainer didn't bother to pay any attention to him, just keeping snuggled in his mother. Who cared if she was short now? Or hadn't become his mother yet? Mommy was mommy.

"Mmmmm." Was the only noise of acknowledgment she made when he spoke. She seemed more preoccupied with his health than his grudge. Motherly instincts, or what she guessed were motherly instincts, kicked in. Deciding to ignore the small creature attached to her leg, Anna crouched slightly, picking up the discarded towel and held it against Hana's nose. "Blow."
no subject
Obediently, he did, making an unhappy 'hgnr' noise.
"'uck."

She gently brushed his bangs away from his face and leaned forward, kissing his brow for a fleeting second. Frowning at the heat, she spoke in a displeased tone, words completely contradicting her earlier actions. "You look terrible."
Then Anna focused her attention on the small green thing latching itself to her leg. "And this is?"
no subject
"Yeah. That's Ryu."
"Larvitar!"
The small Pokemon pipped cheerfully, smiling up at her. Hana dug his hands into his pockets, swaying a little on his feet.
"Where's Daddy and everyone else?"
no subject
"They'll be here shortly. They're only behind me. You know how slow your father is." Or at least, she guessed he did.
But it seemed someone wasn't happy with Ryu's affections. Totodile burst out of its Pokeball, giving a cry of "Dile!" before wrapping its arms around Anna's other leg and glaring at Ryu.
Anna gave an irritated sigh and rubbed her temples.

"Annaaaa..." Yoh whined as he entered the Pokemon Center building, trying to catch his breath. "Are we there yet... ?"
no subject
"Come now, Yoh. It wasn't that bad of a walk." No, it actually had been. But Hao had been sick whereas his little brother had just been lazy. He wouldn't admit to the sickness, however.

Ryu gave a confused look to the Totodile, apparently blissfully unaware of its jealous glare.
The young boy perked up at the semi-familiar voice, pulling away a little to look towards the door.
"Daddy! Uncle Hao-sa-sa-sa-"
ACHOO! Hana made a choked, 'gluh' noise.
"Hao-sama..."

Deciding to ignore the quarrel, Anna straightened and patted her son's head as he rested against her. Turning her head and spotting Yoh and his brother, she nodded at them, hand still resting in the young boys hair.
no subject
"Ahaha, hi there!" he greeted him, waving awkwardly at the boy.
no subject
"Still sick, I see." The tone was not reprimanding at all, more so amused. Honestly he didn't know what to think of Hana, but the boy was most certainly his nephew with how much he looked like both of his parents.
no subject
"Hi, Daddy. Uncle Hao-sama.
"And yeah, I'm still sick, 'cause of that stupid Horohoro."
Yes, he was still going to blame the ice and hail on him. Hana turned his head, dropping into a fierce sneezing fit for a minute before making a soft 'geh' noise again, groaning.
no subject
"I think it's more Rens fault for sending you out in a hail storm." She said as a castoff comment.
She raised an eyebrow as his fit went on. "Bless you." She commented before she gave a small sigh and moved towards the counter to ask if they had any tissues.
no subject
"Wow, seriously? He went back home?" he asked, staring at Anna.
He shivered slightly at his fiancée's comment. Knowing that making her angry was equal to digging one's own grave, he felt really bad for Ren.
Yoh came closer to his son, not blushing anymore, but still clearly flustered. He wasn't even sure what he was supposed to say, really.
no subject
Hana looked up, giving Anna a completely baffled look. They didn't have anything here at all? He looked slightly disappointed at the thought of Horohoro disappearing; now what was he going to use as a punching bag?
"Good riddance."
Oh well. At least Hana didn't have to suffer being annoyed by him. He laid his head back against Anna, before looking up at Yoh.
"What?"
no subject
At her feet, Totodile seemed to boiling towards an argument about who out of Ryu and himself had ownership of Anna's ankles. The water Pokemon wasn't to happy about Ryu's continued ignorance of his yelling. Anna had selectively decided not to pay them any attention.
