Want to be cloooooose
Who: Hayate Ayasaki, Mitsuru Kirijo
Where: Olivine City!
When: 5/8, Noon!
Summary: Hayate invited Mitsuru out on a date for her birthday! Hopefully he will not ruin it horribly.
Rating: ... PG-13 at best for movie themed antics.
Log:
*It wasn't unusual for Hayate to be early for something... In fact he always tried to be early, which is why when he sent Mitsuru the text to show up at the movie theater at around noon, he fully intended to get there a good thirty minutes early!
... something he was regretting significantly at this point, considering he had been nervously pacing in front of the theater for the entirety of the time. Should he have dressed up nicer for this? Was tossing on his nicest coat on top of his uniform not enough?? What if she didn't like the movies playing? What if something came up and she's late?? What if she didn't show up at all?! There could totally be more important things for her to do on her birthday than go out with him, right??*
Ahhhh... Why does this all suddenly feel like I'm going to be willingly participating in a train wreck?

"Charizard Nights?" What an odd title.

Fits the theme quite well...

Indeed... [oh look a romantic comedy preview]

I swear I've lived out one or two of those situations...

It has a rather slow exposition, don't you think?
no subject
Well... Unless it's a sequel and you know what to expect from the get go, they usually take a while to set things up.
no subject
Hm... then I suppose I'll have to be patient.

*and he's still worried she'll find it boring but oh well too late for that*

... and then the movie seems to be back to normal for a bit]

I suppose this is where the true story begins... [and now is wary for any other sudden events that may startle her]

*He says while watching one start to creep up on one of the kids who wandered off on her own*

The drool truly doesn't help tho-- [OH HOLY CRAP THE KID JUST GOT JUMPED BY A GLOOM. Cue a high-pitched yelp from Mitsuru as her hand instinctively shoots out to grab Hayate's]
