Who:
bakaitoukid and YOU [open]
Where: Goldenrod City Museum of Historical Artwork
When: Late evening April 18th
Summary: KAITOU KID'S FIRST HEIST, and so far it's going fairly well. Jewel in hand, the white-clad thief makes his escape... and potentially runs into a few people on the way.
Rating: G - PG?
Log:
[A disarmed security system here, a wooed Officer Jenny there, and a convincing museum curator disguise to top it all off... as predicted, breaking into Goldenrod's Museum of Historical Artwork had been a cinch. Cracking into the glass case that held the Lugia's Tear diamond was even easier, and within a mere span of ten minutes, Kid had his target in hand and was waving delightfully at an enraged pack of Officer Jennies, before darting out of the display room to make his escape.
Escaping was way too easy as well (this group of officers was even more incompetent than Inspector Nakamori's crew), and it didn't take him long to send them on a wild goose chase while he climbed the stairwell to the roof without being pursued. He had been busy during the near eleven months that had lead up to this heist... all those months holed up in his inn rooms fiddling with mechanics trying to recreate his heist tools had paid off. The roof was a perfect, inconspicuous exit-- especially with a hang glider in tow]
It feels like it's been a while since I've had the chance to fly. Heh.
[With the bravery of someone with the utmost confidence that absolutely nothing bad would happen to him next, he balanced precariously on the edge of the rooftop of the museum, before pitching forward and dropping into thin air. He allowed himself to free fall for a few seconds before his hang-glider was activated, and the rest of the fall was spent drifting slowly and carefully to the ground.
He landed in an alleyway near the museum, straightening up almost immediately and deactivating his wings, before he tossed the jewel into the air and caught it with a triumphant smirk]
That was way too easy. ♥
[His decoy should have the Jennies halfway across town by now. All that was left was to strip the Kid disguise and make his way back home...]
((ANYONE IS FREE TO RUN INTO HIM, they'll just be conversing with Kid for a bit before he makes like a phantom and disappears. I-if you don't mind I'd like for him to get away this time, but your character is welcome to try and stop them if you please))

Jack Connery-san was a good man. I think that's all you need to know.
