This is going to end badly.
Who:
bemykismesis and
striderismo
Where: The shopping malls/stores in general yes.
When: The afternoon of June 4th.
Summary: Dave and Eridan are going on a date. Pretty much.
Rating: PG-13 for Dave and Eridan's language.
Log:
Eridan was waiting in front of the pokemart like he had said. He was wearing shorts and a t-shirt for once for it was a little too warm to be wearing all of his warm clothes. He was still wearing his scarf though. Gotta keep his hipster look somehow.
He looks up to the sky and shades his eyes, wondering if Dave was really serious about this or not.

That outcome, however, rested on today's shopping trip.
Dave ambled up beside Eridan, hands shoved in his pockets, and jerked his head in greeting.
"'Sup, Captain."
no subject
"Glad you made it."
He looks around for a minute then back at Dave.
"So...W-where should w-we start?"
no subject
Dave glances across the way, looking from building to building and contemplating.
"You shopping for something in particular?"
no subject
Eridan contemplates for a minute.
"w-well I w-was hopin' I could get some cooler clothin' since it's gettin' a little bit w-warmer."
no subject
"Yeah, you're probably right. I could use some, myself."
no subject
He starts walking to one of the clothe stores, looking over his shoulder at Dave to make sure he was following.
no subject
"Kinda used to it, I guess. Land of Heat and Clockwork and all, and Houston before that wasn't much different."

"Exactly, right? Like you still wearing that scarf in this weather."
no subject
"Yeah. Exactly."
no subject
"After you, Captain."

"So what're you looking for, exactly? Colours, styles?"

Consulting a rack of clothes, he examines a pinstriped purple vest.
"Ever done a dress vest and t-shirt combo?"
no subject
He peeks over Dave's shoulder at the vest.
"Do you think they'll look good together?"
no subject
"On you? Definitely." He takes the vest off the rack and holds it up to Eridan's chest. "Wear it with a white t-shirt, or black, if you want."
no subject
"If you say so. I mean, you obwiously know fashion."
no subject
Dave resumes browsing the racks. "Lighter colours are cooler, but you look good in black; I wouldn't ditch it."
no subject
He browses some racks himself, picking out some shorts.
no subject
As if Dave cares if Eridan looks like a douche. But he has to pretend, at least.

Dave examines a black fedora with a purple satin band. After a moment, he places it on Eridan's head.
"Do you guys even wear hats back home, with the horns and all?"
