Eridan was waiting in front of the pokemart like he had said. He was wearing shorts and a t-shirt for once for it was a little too warm to be wearing all of his warm clothes. He was still wearing his scarf though. Gotta keep his hipster look somehow.
He looks up to the sky and shades his eyes, wondering if Dave was really serious about this or not.

Then he stares at Dave for a minute before going into the bathroom to change.

While he's gone, Dave occupies himself with rearranging some of the clothes into outfits. Honestly, this fashion thing seems easy. Either that, or both he and Eridan have no fashion sense.

Dave points to one of the outfits he just put together.
"This one next?"

Then a few minutes later he comes back out.

He glances at the array of other clothes on the bed and offers up a stray shirt.
"Try this with the pants you're wearing."

He takes the shirt and sets it to the side while he takes his shirt off. Since it's only his top, he has no problem with changing right there. He puts the other shirt on and brushes it off a bit.

"I think that one looks even better."

"Thanks."

"Looks like money well spent to me."
More precisely, it's not really his money he's spending, so who the fuck cares?

"I mean, Gam made me really fuckin' happy but w-we actually had some downsides to our relationship."

He eyes Eridan thoughtfully. If he's going to succeed in trolling Eridan into a relationship, he should probably make it believable. If he were actually considering a relationship with him, Eridan's attitude toward John and Rose would be a serious concern.
"Take us, for example. I'm still not exactly fucking thrilled with the way you talked about John and Rose."
