The One Where Everything Went Wrong

Who: Everyone in the Breeding Centre House!
Where: ...The Breeding Centre House; Assorted areas of Goldenrod City
When: Evening of October 29th into early morning October 30th, beginning about a half hour after THIS post.
Summary: Souji and Yosuke have a fight! All over the house! In front of everyone! And then things happen and Yosuke wanders Goldenrod!
Rating: W for W-T-F NOOOOOOOOOOOO FIGHTING!! Or you know, there will be yelling and cursing and some things.

Everything is being broken up separately to save time and not spam everyone's f-lists, so here's the breakdown!

THE FIGHT THREAD: This is where Souji and Yosuke will have the actual argument. Others are welcome to threadjack to react to one another as this goes down, provided they don't try to talk to the two fighters, who will ignore them in their fury. After the big thing that is a thing happens (and both sides acknowledge it), you should threadjack this with all your reaction faces ever! Immediately after this concludes, it will split up into...

THE SOUJI THREAD: Souji will remain in the house, reacting/calming down/whatever protags do in this situation. Those who are not planning to leave the house can talk to Souji now about all the things!
THE YOSUKE THREAD: Yosuke will be leaving the house to try and clear his mind. He will have no Pokémon with him, only his wallet. He will most likely be freaking out to some degree; he may be aimlessly wandering, he may be sitting in an alley contemplating crawling into a dumpster, he may be outside the inn or at the Pokémon Center. Those who chase him out of the house or are in Goldenrod can talk to him here (note: he'll only talk to his CR if they're not housemates because of his mental state).

THE NEXT DAY: This thread will be closed to Souji and Yosuke and will take place around 5AM Sunday, when Yosuke finally slips back into the house and tries to crawl in his bed. (ninja)

EVERYTHING ELSE! Make your own threads outside of the aforementioned ones to react post-fight, come up with IC game plans and go "wtf why are souji and yosuke fighting EVERYTHING IS WROOONG." Souji and Yosuke won't reply to these threads, but have fun and talk to each other about anything!

Ichi and I will get things started in the individual Souji and Yosuke aftermath threads when the fight is over/mostly over, so please refrain replying to those until we set the scenes up! If you can't/don't want to track anything, PM Ichi and I via LJ/Plurk and we will let you know when everything is totally running and functional for the whole bunch. ♥♥

Please feel free to add your character's tag if you're going to/do tag in! I'll be going through it to add everyone periodically if we miss people, but it'll help!

THE FIGHT THREAD

[After waking up from his tiny nap, he checks the Gear before getting out of bed. But seeing Souji's post immediately sparks something in him, and he wastes no time getting up, flinging the bedroom door open and walking straight into the living room.]

[He stands in front of Souji, eyes narrowed.]

DUDE. What the hell?

[ Souji looks up from his gear, clearly confused at what Yosuke is going "what the hell" about? ]

[ Souji honestly feels like complete crap now. At first, he has thought he might not take back that kiss because of how Yosuke has reacted to it during it, but soon after, he has completely regretted it. Just all of those different emotions on Yosuke's face before he has run out. Then, he has only really felt guilt and being hurt. ]

[ He keeps standing in the location he has been in before with his hands pressed to his eyes, not crying, but just trying to block out anything and everything. ]

[ A broken Souji is a poor leader and a broken Souji he is now. ]

[there's a lot of emotions going through her and while Nanako doesn't fully understand exactly what's going on, she's able to gather that Souji's upset... and he's upset because he cares about Yosuke. this is the thought she clings to as she quietly heads over to him, worry and sadness on her face.

slowly, she stands on her tip toes and gently presses both hands to Souji's elbow.]

[Oh, god. Talking to Rise made her so confident. Yet, this is the complete opposite of how it's always been. Souji has seen Yumi at her worst. He's seen her violently angry, he's seen her the most sad she could ever be, and he's seen her switch from one to the other in drama to hide from life. The fact that now she needs to approach him and say something...it's honestly terrifying.

She slowly moves closer. There's only one thing she can think of right now, something he'll definitely remember. She's not going to ramble on about things, she just wants to start by letting him know that she's here, like she wants to be.

He didn't hug her on that day, but that's fine. Her eyes still a little damp from tears, she wraps her arms around him and gives him a soft hug from behind. There's no romance in it, though. She worries briefly if he won't recognize the gesture, if this won't make sense to him, but words spill out of her mouth--]

I'm here. ...Let's go, okay?

{However, a running not!son friend is always going to catch his eye, and she looks on confusedly as he runs into a nearby alley. Something about him sets off alarm bells, so she walks on over, quiet and careful.}

Yosuke!! [He bursts out the door as soon as he gets his legs to move, chasing after his friend.]

[ Rise's legs aren't as long as Yosuke's and she doesn't have a Persona to track him down, so she's forced to rely on the good old-fashioned method of running around and calling for him. Talking with Yumi slowed her down a little, but she's sprinting now. ]

[even though he should have probably checked in on souji before running after Yosuke-- he just... had a gut feeling that his other senpai needed him more. And so here he is chasing after Yosuke.]

[she knew Souji wasn't the only one upset by this, if Yosuke running away was any indication. she knew he needed space, but after talking with Souji, she couldn't just stand around without doing anything. so she quickly put together a bento in the kitchen, filling the container with rice balls, eggs, sausages, and anything else she could get her hands on.

she dashed out of the house after that, running as fast as she could to find Yosuke.]

[By sheer happenstance, she manages to see him outside the inn... and apropos of nothing, she's going to approach him. Though they haven't really met in person before.]

THE NEXT DAY

[He's been out all night; he ultimately had decided against staying at the inn or the Pokémon Center. They had their appeals, but it was easier to avoid people if they couldn't find him.]

[It's eating him alive though. He has nothing -- no Pokémon, no music. Absolutely nothing to give him any semblance of normalcy. Sunlight is beginning to peek through the spaces between Goldenrod's skyscrapers, and Yosuke thinks now is the time.]

[Everyone - Souji included - should be asleep now. But it doesn't matter; if anyone is awake, he's going to have to deal with him. It's bad enough any of them came running after him when he stormed out earlier. He doesn't feel he deserves it, not a single thing. But going back to the house also meant seeing Souji... and that's the absolute last thing he wants right now. The guilt is crushing his chest, but fear of the truth is driving him more.]

[Rather than go to the house, he enters the Breeding Centre, greeted by the few Pokémon of his that remained there overnight. He slips into the backroom, kicking his boots off and carelessly tossing his coat to the side. With heavy heels, he trudges up the stairs.]

[At least he'd be alone here. His stomach is still churning -- he wants to throw up again. He's considering locking himself in the bathroom at trying this.]

Takes place after his talk with Yosuke

[Trudging back into the Breeding Centre without Yosuke in tow wasn't exactly part of the plan, but with the way everything had gone today, it isn't too much of a surprise.

He shuts the door behind him quietly, in case anyone's resting, and just...tilts his head back, leaning against the door for a moment with his eyes closed. What follows is a long, tired sigh.]

[Someone definitely isn't resting, though. Upon coming back to the living room, Yumi had found the glass she had accidentally shattered and cleaned up. While she did that, though, she realized she didn't know who was here and who wasn't.

That's why there's tea on the living room table, and Merlin will hear an almost too-loud clink (thanks to nervous hands) as Yumi puts down the glass and moves over to the entryway.]

Oh, Merlin...[She doesn't sound disappointed. She's glad to see him, honestly, Yosuke or not.] Are you alright?

[ Across the room from him is one girl with golden hair with something in her hands. There's a subtle sigh of relief that escapes the confines of tightly sealed lips as she brings herself to her feet to close the distance. Her patience paid off - for her original idea was to make chase after him, to watch over him, to protect him from anything the other could have said or done.

Yet, her trust in the man paid off. Here he was returned and while he seems distraught, there's not a thing wrong with him physically. ]

Merlin. [ Before he can object, she unfolds the blanket in her hands and throws them around his shoulders. Pulling him in closer towards her tiny frame, she tugs on the corners under his neck. ] You need rest.

[ It wasn't a request. No, it was the rare commanding tone she hardly uses in Johto, her grip tightening on the fabric. ]

[The day, night...it was entirely lost. At some point, she wasn't sure who went after Yosuke, who was sleeping, and who was still with Souji. Everyone was talking. She had spoken with Rise, and a conversation that lasted less than a minute was still valuable to her.

That's why she's sitting in the living room with her Gear, idly waiting for something. It's almost impossible to put up with the silence, so she's been writing in a notebook, not that it's helping much. Her Glaceon sits next to her on the couch, napping against her leg.

There's fresh tea that she's been making every so often, just for anyone coming out of the cold rain. Yumi is tired and looks tired, but she's not going to bed until she knows it's okay.]

[Yukiko had decided to go for a walk. She was still trying to digest all this, and it wasn't even her fight.

She shivered as she walked through the threshold of the door. Thank goodness she brought her umbrella with her. Letting it down, she briskly walked into the living room, expecting no one to be there.

She was shocked to find Yumi, sitting rather passively by herself.]
